Chapter 7

Y/n's POV

During the night, when everybody was asleep you exited the tent and sat on a blanket, staring at the stars. You haven't really gotten any sleep lately, mainly because you weren't as tired as everybody else.

You loved the stars. You loved how they gather together and produce such a beautiful sight.
Footsteps were heard coming towards you, so you looked beside you to see the last person you want to see. Eren Jeager.

He sat beside you, not even looking at you and looked at what you were looking at,
" Why aren't you in bed?"

" Couldn't sleep,"

He just hummed in response, the tension was insanely thick, making it hard to breathe. The silence was almost to loud, feeling a little bit awkward. Eventually, he broke the silence between you both.

" You probably wonder why I'm such a brat and attention seeker all the time,"

You laughed a little,
" I think that all the time,"

He had the smallest smile on his face when he saw you laugh. He exclaimed, looking back at the stars,
" My Father is a successful businessman, but he never had time for me. My Mother died in a car crash when I was young, so I never really had anybody,"

His story stopped you from looking at the stars and at him, feeling a ting of sympathy for him. You furrowed your eyebrows, realising that his behaviour wasn't his fault. It was the price for being raised wrongly. This made your hate towards him decrease just a little.

You asked, confused,
" Why did you kiss me? It doesn't make sense, there are so many other pretty girls and you chose me,"

He chuckled a little and glanced back at you, analysing how confused you were, it made him laugh,
" Because they may be pretty, but they don't have what you have. The ability to truly love and care for someone without judgement. Besides, I... think you're cute,"

He mumbled the last part from embarrassment, but you heard it loud and clear. Izuku was right, he did have a crush on you after all these weeks of being tormented you. It was his way of expressing he likes you without people suspecting anything.

A hand gently grabbed your chin and turned your head to face him. His emerald green eyes looked like they glowed in the dark, same goes to you in his eyes. He couldn't help but fall deeply in your eyes, they're to beautiful to look away from.

" If you still hate me, I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, Y/n,"

Before you could even process what he meant, he grabbed your waist and pulled you closer, earning a small gasp of surprise. He placed his lips on yours, but this time it was more passionate. This time, you kissed back just a little, letting him place his other hand on your cheek.

After a few minutes, he pulled away,
" You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that,"

Your lips were like drugs to him, he loved the feeling of them against yours. He loved how they fit against his like a jigsaw puzzle, connecting gracefully.
He looked down, almost looking shameful,
" If you still hate me, that's fine, but I've told you the truth about everything,"

He then got up and went back into his own tent, leaving your shocked form. It took a minute to fully process exactly what happened. A lot happened in just under five minutes. You got up and went back to bed, bringing your favourite teddy close.

The trip went by way faster than you expected it too. The next thing you knew was that you were all on the coach on the way back. You and Eren didn't even speak a word on the journey, you didn't even look at each other.

When you arrived back home, you walked into your house and the first thing you did was have a nice, steamy shower. When you did, you washed your hair and body before stepping out and drying your body.
Placing comfy pyjamas on, you walked out of your room and dove onto your bed, loving how you sank into the matress.

A knock on the door was heard, only to see your Mother,
" Hi sweetie, tomorrow we're going to be meeting the guy who has signed the alliance contract with us, you have to come,"

You just nodded, to tired to even think about it at the moment. She understood that and left, sending you a small smile on the way out. The last thing you thought was Eren before falling asleep in your duvet.
