"I say we don't waste any more time talking. Let's just go in there and face them head-on," Saya declared, her eyes ablaze with determination.
The air fell into a tense silence as her statement hung in the air, prompting worried glances and exchanged looks between Lloyd, Garmadon, and Nya.
Lloyd stepped forward, his voice carrying a mixture of concern and affection. "Saya, I understand your courage, but we need a plan. We can't charge in blindly; that's a recipe for disaster." His gaze pleaded with her to see reason, to acknowledge the gravity of their situation.
Garmadon, whose eyes held the weight of battles long fought, spoke with a measured urgency. "Bravery is commendable, but strategy is what wins wars. We need to think this through, for all our sakes."
Nya, the best friend and warrior at Saya's side, entered the discourse with a touch of impatience. "Look, I get it, but we can't afford to let the enemy catch us off guard. We need at least a basic plan to ensure our safety."
Saya, caught between the passion of her convictions and the wisdom of those she trusted, felt the internal struggle intensify. "I can't stand idly by while they threaten everything we hold dear," she retorted, her frustration evident.
The air buzzed with the clash of perspectives, each individual grappling with the impending conflict and the delicate balance between courage and strategic wisdom.
"We have to wait until nightfall. There's too many." Nya claimed after a moment.
Saya's frustration grew every second. "And then what? Every minute we're out here, he grows more powerful and—"
"Dear, Chen grows strong by taking from others. But real power does the opposite. It empowers those around you. Like the way you both empowered me. We will get you to Chen, and you both will destroy his staff." Garmadon scolded lightly.
"Fine."
-
"Remember, destroy the staff and everyone's power returns. You all came here to make your team a whole. Finish the job."
The group sneaked into the palace, but Lloyd accidentally activated the alarms, alerting the Cultists.
"There's too many of them."
"I'll hold them. You three, find Chen." Nya said as the others left. On their way, Clouse found them.
"Go, you both. Leave Clouse to me." Garmadon announced.
Lloyd turned to them. "Good luck."
"Your father doesn't believe in luck." Clouse remarked.
"Oh, we know. He wasn't talking to him." Saya answered, mockingly, leaving with Lloyd.
-
"The final round. It all ends here." Chen announced as Kai led the couple to him.
The revelation cut through Saya like a sharp blade, the sting of betrayal lingering in the air. Kai's treacherous decision to hand them over to Chen felt like a punch to the gut.
