Prompt- ANCIENT GREECE BASED
{Throwing an apple at your lover was actually considered a marriage proposal!}
Anthony is like Narcissus (very vain) and he never looks away from his reflection in the pond. Until one day, a young demigod changes everything.

Anthony POV

Damn, I'm sexy.

No seriously bro. I'm like, immensely attractive.

So attractive, in fact, that I can never stop looking at myself.

It's kind of lonely though, you can't exactly set up a profile on tinder if you are constantly looking at a pond.

But no one is beautiful enough for me anyway, even in my army of fans, no one is even remotely as visually stunning as I. Such a pity.

They always try to kiss me, but I just yell at them for getting in the way of my reflection.

I mean, can you blame me?

I'm hotter than a ghost pepper, hotter than every single man in Gree-

Woah.

Who's that? Next to me in the reflection?

"There sure are a lot of stars out tonight." The mystery hunk says.

I, for the first time in years, look away from my reflection.

Thankfully, I've picked up a few flirting skills from my steamy conversations with myself.

"I wouldn't know, the only stars I'm looking at are the ones in your eyes." I say smoothly. He really did have gorgeous blue eyes.

He laughs and grabs my hand. I blush.

"I was starting to think I could never give you this effect." The mystery man says with a laugh.

"You've been my eye candy for a few years now." The man speaks again as he leans into me, our noses touching.

"Thou art the most beautiful man I have ever had the pleasure of gazing at." I tell him sincerely.

"Would you like to gaze at me in my bed, naked?" He asks me, startling me slightly.

"Indeed I would, but what is your name?" I ask.

"Ian Hecox, son of Aphrodite." He tells me as he leads me away from my familiar pond, into the city of Athens.

Of course he would be from the creative, intelligent city-state. I could never imagine someone this stunning coming from Sparta.

~Narrator~
The handsome demigod did what no one before him ever could.

He lead the narcissistic man away from his pond and into his heart.

That son of Aphrodite was truly something.
-----------------------------

The two studs fell in love very quickly, and eventually would finalize their love for each other.

-----------------------------

It was a sunny day. Not a cloud was in the sky. Ian was outside, watering the crops for what was sure to be the hottest summer in Athens.

But not as hot as his boyfriend, Anthony.

Ah, Anthony. People could only dream to have a lover as dreamy and rewarding as him.

An apple being thrown at him took him out of his thoughts. He caught the apple just before it hit him smack dab in the nose.

"Well?" Anthony said with a hopeful look in his eyes. He was looking straight at Ian for an answer. In fact, everyone on their street was too.

Ian began to realize what answer he wanted. Anthony had proposed. To Ian.

"Of course, Anthony!" Ian yelled as he ran up to his new fiancé.

Everyone awwed and went back to working on their own farms.

The two men hugged and kissed. But the one with the biggest smile was Anthony. He never would've thought he would leave his pond and marry someone who was more attractive than him who truly loved him. He didn't think such a person existed.

And Anthony loved Ian even more than he ever loved himself. He truly did.
