1 : Brooks

Brooks POV

"Brooks get up you're going to be late for school" my mom shouts when she quickly opens my bedroom door.

I wake immediately to her shout. Looking over to my clock I quickly get up realizing that my alarm didn't go off and I slept in. Luckily for me we don't live far from school but now I have to rush to get ready because I am not running to school again.

I run over to my closet, pulling out my uniform. First putting on my navy khakis then my gray polo. I run over to my bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. A quick comb through with my brush and my hair looks fairly decent.

Once I am done in the bathroom I make my way over to put on some socks and shoes. I look at my phone to see I have five minutes before Kade drives off to school without me. And he will do it. I grab my school backpack and run downstairs.

"Brooks, again" my ma says with annoyance as she and my sisters eat their breakfast before work. Being on time is important for my family.

I grab the bacon and toast that is on my ma's plate "love you" I kiss her cheek and run to my mom to do the same.

"That was my bacon and toast" I hear my ma say as I run to the front door. I can hear the car engine turn on. He just had to have a car that made it so noticeable that he was leaving. Not a smart move, you can never sneak out.

"Wait!" I shout out at my brother. "I'm here. Made it with...thirty seconds to spare" I smile as I look at the time on my phone.

"Alarm again?" he questions.

"Mhm" I reply with a hum and nod of my head since I shoved the toast and bacon into my mouth. My brother laughs in amusement.

"You spill one crumb in here and I will make you clean my entire car" Kade says as we drive off to school. He is such a clean freak, especially when it comes to his car. What is it with boys and their cars? I understand it is a nice car, it is a Lamborghini urus, but it is also just a car.

"Well in a few more months you will not have to worry about driving me or me getting crumbs in your car"

"If I'm lucky. You still have to pass the test" he replies.

My family is very rich, the richest in town. But my moms don't want us to be spoiled brats so we have to earn everything. Including a car. However we do get to pick any car we want which does make us spoiled.

When all of us turn 17 and have our license our moms let us pick whichever car if we pass both their requirements. My mom's requirement is that we get all As every year and my ma's requirement is that we pass her driving test. It isn't a normal driving test like the one everyone takes at the DMV. It is a specific one that she had to take during her training when she was a spy. The last requirement is both of theirs. We have to intern at one of the family businesses for a year. I finished my internship at Stark Securities with my ma this past summer.

"I'm going to pass, trust me. And I will beat all of your times" I confidently tell my brother. The test is also timed. Right now my older sister Stellan has the best time followed by Kade then KJ.

"We'll see about that" he shakes his head with a smile.

We arrive at school ten minutes before our first period starts. Although school is not my favorite, I enjoy coming. It does help that I am the most popular girl in my class. And the captain of the soccer team. I don't care about being popular, but it does have its perks. Like always having a party to go to.

My family doesn't know that I have a lot of popularity at school, only Kade knows. My older sister KJ is the most protective of me out of all my siblings. She is also the most annoying. She still sees me as a little baby in her head. A baby she needs to protect and make sure no one bullies.
