12 : Devinmore

Brooks POV

Being in a relationship is awesome. I get to hangout with Blake anytime and kiss her anytime. It's like having a best friend that you can kiss. I didn't think that I was missing out on so much not being in a relationship. Guess Kade was right, this is better.

The only problem now is introducing Blake to my family. I am positive that they will all like her, but I don't know how she will react to my family being overprotective. I am not looking forward to her having to have the meeting with my moms. None of my siblings nor do I know what my moms talk about with the person we are dating, but we know that it either ends very well or very bad.

"Brooks" I hear someone speak, taking me away from my thinking. It's Blake. She sits down next to me on the courtyard table for lunch.

"Sorry what?"

"What were you thinking about?"

"Oh um nothing" I smile at her.

"You looked really focused. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. All good. How was class?" I change the subject. I haven't told Blake about meeting my moms and I don't want to bring it up right now.

"So boring. I wish we had more classes together"

"Me too, but I think I would fail"

"Why?" she looks at me curiously.

"I'd be too distracted with you that I would not pay attention"

"Oh so I'm a distraction?"

"Definitely, but one that I am willing to fail school for" I smirk making her blush.

"You're dumb" she pushes my face away lightly.

"I'm going to kill those Devinmore assholes" Theo sits down angrily.

"Dude you have to chill. This is what they want" Nolan replies as he takes his seat. Robyn and Noel follow.

"What did they do now?" I ask Theo.

"They spray painted this on my car" he pulls up his phone to show me. It's their school mascot which is a bull. The entire bull head is painted black on the hood of Theo's red car. It is really bad.

"Did you call the cops?" Blake asks.

"They won't do anything" I tell her.

"Knowing Ethan he probably paid some random to spray paint it so he wouldn't get in trouble"

"Wait how do you know who it was?"

"You don't know about the rivalry?" Noel asks Blake. I forget that Blake hasn't been around her that long.

"Vanderbilt Prep and Devinmore High have been rivals since both schools opened. Every year during football, soccer, and basketball season, there tends to be a lot of pranks that happen between schools before we play against each other. Years ago the cops would eventually get involved but it got to the point where nothing could be proved so everyone got away with it"

"Yes but this is too fucking far. I'm going to kill Ethan and his stupid friends" Theo says angrily.

"Ethan is the captain of the football team at Devinmore. And he has been one of the worst ones when it comes to this rivalry. At first it was just a couple of harmless pranks but every since his family moved to Devinmore the pranks became way worse"

"And there is nothing that you can do about it?"

"Yes, kill him" Theo replies.

"No" I tell him. "The only thing we can do is get them back" I tell Blake.
