Manical laughter filled the halls of the royal family wing in the fire Palace as we see a eight year old azula wake up due to the laughter and ran to her older bother zuko to also wake him up only to see he as well was woken up at the creepy laughter. They ran to see what was happening and opened the room to the twin of azula and youngest son of ozai.

They stood there frozen in shock as from behind them their parents entered the room.

"Kirai what ìs the meaning of this!" Prince Ozai raised his voice as he saw the writing on the walls all the symbols and word filled papers stuck to the walls via small knifes

The young boy continues to laugh as he turns around and looks at his family as his siblings and mother gasped as they saw half of his face covered in blood as a line cut on the boys right eye is the sorce of the blood.

"What did you do!!" Ozai raises his voice even more as Ursa ran to hug him and care for his wound.

"I can see everything so clearly now father. My eye it's just the beginning!!" Kirai says with a grin on his face as his mother carried him away as zuko covered azulas eyes.

"Those writing on the walls. It was a sacrifice that boy was experimenting with the spirits!" Ozai said as he slammed his fist down on a table

"That scar! It shows weakness to others, that the fire prince harmed himself to such an extent!" Ozai paced in his private chambers thinking on how he can turn the tables on this situation.

The door to his chambers where open and Ursa walked in.

"The healers said that his eye wasn't damaged. However they want to watch closely over him, so he doesn't hurt himself again." She says sitting on the bed and covering her face with her hands

Ozai sighs in anger, the boys stunt will damage his image. And his father's favor.

I open my eyes to be met with my right eye in darkness.

What no. That wasn't suppose to happen. The sacrifice was meant to be heal once it was complete

I touch my eye tofeel cloth, I remove the cloth to see bright lights and I see my siblings

"Hehe I did it you guys I found the key" I say with a raspy voice as they ran to me.

"Rai they said you shouldn't take of the wrappings!" My older brother zuko said as he grabbed the bandages.

"What key? And what did you even do!?" Azula my twin said

I smiled and got up and hopped off the bed and grabbed my brother hand and opened my right eye.

"Woah what's wrong with your eye?" Dear brother asks

"Better question brother, what's missing with YOUR eye!" I say with a grin as I move onto my twin and grab her hands

I laughter a bit as azula was just there looking at where I was as I ran to my room.

As I ran i saw my door open and slowed down and saw a figure in my room.

"Prince Kirai. What were you doing here!" He said looking at me over his shoulders.

"My, Father it is mighty rude going through a scientist notes without asking" I say

"Enough! I've had enough of your games boy do you even know what will happen if words comes out that the prince of the fire nation sliced his own face!" Ozai says with spite walking towards me.

Even now that I've awakened, I still cower in fear even my hands are shaking

I lay on the floor tears flooding out of my eyes as I silently cry on the floor as Father looks down on me with nothing but disappointment and leaves.
