The house soon became a maze. I did my best to remember which way to go. I mostly got lost, but after wondering around in circles for awhile, I would recall where to go. Through that room. Down that hall. Left, right, right. I came across many unusual rooms. One had a bunch of test tubes and lab stuff, while another I had guessed was where the nurse stayed because there were medical books and such things spread across the room. After getting lost four times, I spotted the most curious thing. I saw the Koliy family!

They were arguing with Aliandra and Drake. I had noticed two things different. One, Sam wasn’t with them. Two, A little girl, a vampire girl I should add, was cowering behind Mary. She looked less than ten. When did they adopt  another family member? She rushed at me, but Mary caught her in time. “See! This is why there’s an age limit! She’s to young to understand, to learn!”, Drake barked at them. “What about what your doing!”, Mrs. Koliy argued back. “Having a human deliver you a half vampire baby!” Aliandra stood up. “That’s different! The rumored child has been able to age! Therefore me and my husband could teach it right from wrong!”

They didn’t seem to notice me until the girl rushed at me again. Drake grabbed her and gave her to a guard that stood nearby. “Brittany!”, wailed Mary. The guard dragged her away, then I heard a single scream. Mary continued to wail. “My sister, my little sister.” Did Mary do that just because I left? I never thought of us that close. The guard returned with others, but no Brittany. They held the struggling Mary down as another plunged a sharp, wooden stake where poor Mary’s heart would be. I tried to stop them, but Drake grabbed me and sternly withheld me.

He pulled me back towards the door I had come out of. I screamed, “Let go of me! You murder!” I punched him as hard as I could. “You killed him! You killed Tony.” He stopped dragging me and looked back. “You spoke.” His voice was under a whisper. He brushed my hair away from my face. “Tony’s not dead.” I ignored his lies. Of course he would tell me that. He let go and I rushed away. I ran and ran. I didn’t look where I was going, but I didn’t stop. I entered a room when my breath became ragged. I looked around. I was inside a room that looked like it would have been named The Weapons Room. Sharp stakes lined the walls. It even had a few guns though I don’t know why. Guns couldn’t kill a vampire. Not unless they had silver bullets!
