His smile,

a poetic dance of constellations in the night sky

The next day Meera went to meet her seniors as they will be having a rehearsal for the freshers the next day.

"I'm suggesting that we take a look at their performances first and then come up with the list. It'll be easier for us to sort  things out and distribute the fun equally so people are entertained throughout the show" Meera said sitting straight.

"I think that's a good idea. Have you informed them about the rehearsals?" Sunny asked Meera. And then went to check the tech team after seeing the message Meera had posted in the group she had created for the first year participants.

Meera was a little bummed out when she couldn't see Dhruv today but she cheered up when someone asked her to help with the backdrop painting.

Painting was something Meera had taken a liking for since she was a little kid. Her dad has every one of her paintings framed she did since she was a kid. It made her feel at ease. Meera is a very reserved person. She doesn't open up to people that easily. She felt like she could express what she was feeling with a few strokes of paint on a canvas better than voicing them out loud.

"Wow that's mad impressive" said a senior who walked by where Meera and other first year volunteers were doing the screen looking at their college name in a big calligraphy font. Meera just blushed hearing the compliment and thanked them. It truly was beautiful. After painting the screen, Meera made badges for the board members which consisted of their college motto printed and satin ribbon ruffled around the corner.

Sanskriti was very impressed by Meera's work as she had managed to do all of the badges within thirty minutes and it came out so beautiful. The satin being a dark shade of maroon. Meera could swear her heart did a little '!!!!' when she saw Dhruv walking in, in  the most casual clothing she has ever seen him. A beige tee and black jeans. He looked handsome nonetheless. Veer was with him too.

"Hey Meera!" Veer said as he came towards her. Meera waved at him and showed him the badge she made with a proud grin on her face. "Damn you made this?" He asked while looking at the badge with an impressed face. Meera nodded her head enthusiastically. "These are really good Meera!! Yo dhruv take a look at this" he said motioning dhruv to come over. Meera got a little nervous when dhruv came and stood next to her. "You made the banner too i assume?" Dhruv asked as he looked at her. Meera just nodded her head because she didn't trust her voice under Dhruv 's intense gaze. "It's cool" Meera just smiled at him. They both held their gazes but Meera was the first to break eye contact when she saw Veer approaching them with the banner she painted.

"You did a good job with the banner Meera!" He said looking at the banner. "Thanks veer" Sunny who was passing by them took a look at what Meera had done and she appreciated Meera as well. After organising things for a while, Meera bid goodbye for everyone and went to her room along with yuktha. When Meera told aarushi about what happened in the evening she couldn't contain her excitement. Aarushi just softly smiled at her. She knew how much Meera craved seeking validation from everyone for whatever she did. So she was glad that Meera was appreciated for her work else she would have only doubted herself.

The next day Meera attended all her classes and met sunny at the auditorium along with yuktha. They chatted for a bit and went on their own ways after noticing the participants started to pour in. Meer went towards them to check whether everyone had arrived and if they had their pen drives with them. After telling them the order they'll be performing, she went backstage to inform sunny that it was done.
