❥ MARINETTE'S POV

WELL, AFTER winning over the Monkie boy's friends, I started my first day of work by going to buy supplies for the restaurant.

Luckily I wasn't alone, Pigsy and Tang are with me too. Pigsy decided to take me with them because MK hadn't woken up yet and didn't want me to be alone.

I look at the various merchandise around me in amazement. I looked towards Pigsy and Tang who were picking out the supplies and walked towards him.

"Now THAT's a good carrot." Pigsy said as I approached. "Just find a few more similar to this beauty and we'll be great!"

I look at the carrot in your hand, I must say it's a really beautiful carrot.

"How beautiful!" I said, seeing how perfect the vegetable was.

"It looks just like the 2,0000 others we saw..." Tang said as he took the carrot out of Pigsy's hand.

"GIVE ME THAT!" Pigsy said as he took the carrot back. "I don't expect you to appreciate a beautiful carrot like that, you're not a culinary genius! Hehe, just like Marinette and me!"

Your words reminded me of yesterday. I had made some sweets and when I distributed them to Monkie kid's friends who are now my friends, their mouths watered. Pigsy asked me where I had learned that, so I told him that I was a descendant of bakers for generations and that was how I won Pigsy over.

A laugh broke me out of my thoughts. I looked towards a tent and saw a woman with purple skin coming out of it.

"Well, well, well~ You guys are making a fuss..." She says while leaning on the counter. "Are you looking for some ingredients? Something really tasty? You came to the right place!" She says and blows Tang a kiss.

"Uh... let's go guys let's keep moving- Anh?!" Tang then realizes that Pigsy and I weren't by his side, he looks and sees the woman with that woman.

"You... So you're selling some nice vegetables today...?" Pigsy said making me look at the boxes and seeing that there were barely any vegetables but I decided to be polite.

"Do you sell other vegetables, pretty lady?" I ask in a sweet voice. Making her look at me as soon as her eyes landed on me I could see her eyes widen she then smiled and started needing my head I can't say I didn't like it.

"You are blind?" Tang asked. The woman then takes her hand off my head and turns her attention to Pigsy and Tang.

"That's right, sweetie. This is the best store in the whole fair!" She says. "Why don't you come inside and take a look at my... exclusive products?~"

"Pigsy I'm not sure about-" Tang tries to stop but Pigsy interrupts him.

"Don't ruin my moment! I need this..." Pigsy says as he enters the tent.

We enter. I kept holding Tang's hand because I had seen a spider web, which for some reason made me uncomfortable.

"Closer~ A little closer~~"
