CHAPTER SIX:
SO WHAT▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
ROSITA'S EYES opened slowly her arm extending off to the other side of her subconsciously, it was no longer warm, the person who had slept beside her gone and for god knows how long.
"Issac?" The girl mumbled tiredly, her eyebrows scrunching together as she struggled to adjust to the sunlight peeking through the blinds into the makeshift fort they had messily thrown together the afternoon before.
She rose to her feet slowly looking around, a soft sigh parts her lips as she trudges into the kitchen grabbing a coffee cup from the cupboard wincing slightly as it clashed against the hard counter.
"Good morning." Catalyna chirped Napoli stopping at the fridge, grabbing the bottle of fresh orange juice from inside.
"Morning." Rosita mumbled, pouring coffee into her mug.
"What's wrong?" Catalyna questioned.
"Issac stayed over last night and when I woke up... he ways already gone."
"Wait..." Catalyna kicked the fridge door closed before turning to her older sister, a humored smile playing at her lips as the information played in her head again.
"I thought you and Issac hated each other? And now he's sleeping over?"
"We talked, we agreed to be friends and stop the childish games." Rosita paused for a second and lifted the mug taking a sip before continuing. "It wasn't fair to everyone else."
"Well, I think that's very mature."
Rosita smiled warmly before walking down the hall into her bedroom, collecting her phone from the bed side table, typing for a minute before sending Issac a text.
ROSITA: hey where'd you go?
She stares at the message, waiting for a reply.
ISSAC: didn't wanna wake you up, parker had an early football game. really wanted us all there.
ROSITA: hope she won.
ISSAC: she killed it. you'd be proud.
ROSITA: next time I'd love to come.
ISSAC: she was severely lacking a pretty cheerleader dancing on the sidelines for her.
ROSITA: I'll start working on some cheers for her.
ISSAC: come by later?
ROSITA: of course.
The girl giggled quietly as she put her phone down laying back on her bare mattress, the duvet and pillows that usually would be resting on it currently sitting in the living room in the form of a nearly failed fort made by two teenagers.
