Beatriz parked her car in the school parking. It was few minutes before his school ended. Her own classes had ended a hour ago, she went home changed in something more comfortable and drove to the Rez.

Paul Lahote had been a weird person to get hold of. After the accident and when everything was finally ( in some way ) normal, Beatriz had found her sisters medicine and started to take them, knowing it would be bad in the long run but she couldn't care less. She knew it would help, but after few days they had ended. She contacted many people around Forks who could get the pills, and with time she came across Paul Lahote. In few weeks they had already started being friends, drugs and alcohol were usually in the mix.

Beatriz closed her eyes and leaned her head on her wheel. Only a few minutes and he'll be out. She tried clearing her mind, tried thinking of how everything would be easier once they got to the Lahote house.

Time ran so quickly the bell had started ringing, with fear she opened her eyes and sat back straight, looking for any danger. 'You are safe, Bea' Her mind laughed at her.

There he was, with his friends. He looked a so different than how she acted in school, in some way she was jealous of how normal he could act. When Paul located her car he said his goodbyes and walked to the red car.

"How are you?" He asked as he opened the door, left his bag between his legs and put his belt on. Bea had started the engine the second she saw him so she now just had to hit the gas.

"Perfect, as always." She said with sarcasm as she exited the parking of the school.

He brushed his long hair out of his way and turned to look at her. "You are so funny."

"I know."

They stayed silent as she drove towards the Lahote house. It was never an awkward silence, Paul had learned that the silence meant Bea was thinking. Her thinking could not be good, she always overthought everything, every little detail.

"Bea."

"Yes?" She didn't took her eyes out of the road.

Paul sighed and turned to look at her. "Did you take any today?"
