Something Beatriz had felt her entire life was emptiness. Something in her had always beeen empty, she didn't know what. No matter what she did, how many of them she had, whatever she did it never satisfied her enough.
Always, in the dark nights, she would lay down looking at her ceiling and feel her soul being empty. She thought that was how she had to feel her entire life, it was something natural. Maybe she was just a bit different and she just felt like that because there was something wrong with her.
She felt like floating around her own body.
But then, a moment of fullness filled her. She felt like her old self again, she felt free. She felt like every brick that was pushed on her back had been removed one by one, by Bella. Bella made her feel better again.
She hear them, but they were happy, they wanted Bella. Maybe not like Bea wanted Bella, but they didn't scream at her like they did with everyone else. Maybe she wouldn't feel empty again, maybe everything would go back slowly to normal. Maybe she was just having and episode, like her mom used to have back when she didn't have kids. Maybe Bea was not as broken as she thought.
Beatriz opened her eyes slowly, the little light coming from the sun waking her up. The first thing she noticed was herself. Her feeling. She hadn't woken up from a bad dream covered in sweat and tears. She had ( for the first time in months ) woken up without a nightmare, she didn't even know what had she dreamed about. It was like her mind had quiet down for the night, like the demons in her decided to leave.
She searched for her with her hands, waiting to hug her and stay like that. But she was only faced with cold sheets. Beatriz opened her eyes quickly and sat down.
Her bed was empty, it was only her sleeping in it.
Maybe Bella was in the bathroom. The bathroom door was open showing it emptiness, and Bella's clothes were gone from the floor.
Bella had left.
When Beatriz had tried calling her nothing seemed to make the brunette girl answer. Not even the Swan household phone was answered.
