In the original RWBY verse Cinder was looking at some reports and charts closely, trying to figure out what in the Brothers is going on. The past few days have brought the report of several key members of her operation as Missing, and the Grimm have been behaving strangely.
It's been days since she sent Neo away, because she was annoying her, and hasn't returned since. Then Adam angrily reported to her that said key members have been found dead or missing.
Cinder's frustration led to her lashing out at various people around her. Emerald, Mercury and Olivine Nocciola.
Olivine has short hazel hair, with a green stripe above her left eye. She's wearing a sweatshirt with ripped sleeves and a pair of jeans with black leather boots. Her hazel eyes hold a hint of anger in them as she slightly bites at her painted green nails. There's a large tattoo of a steam with leaves on her right arm.
Emerald, Mercury and Olivine glanced at each other, as they knew to keep their distance when Cinder was angry. As not to get yelled at, have fire thrown at them, or given an extremely bad job.
Emerald decided to try to talk to her boss and try to get info from her. "Do you have anything for us to do, ma'am?"
Cinder sighs in frustration before turning to Emerald, anger clear in her eyes. "Yes, I need you to go into the damn woods to figure out what the hell is going on in there, bring Mercury and Olivine with you."
Emerald nodded and left her boss to continue to fume by herself. Olivine groans in frustration as Emerald walks back to them and informs them of the job they have received.
As they three exit the building they walk past one of the biggest assets to their operation. The Meta.

The large weapon on his back shines in the sunlight.
"Fine anything useful, big man?" Olivine asks as she walks past, but the Meta only gives a light hiss as he heads inside. "Geesh, what's his problem."
The three soon head into the Emerald Forest and to the general area where their missing and dead were reported. Olivine kneels down to a pool of blood and looks over it.
Emerald and Mercury glance around at the several pools of blood and large pieces of broken camping gear.
Mercury kicks a metal cup away. "Well, it seems like we missed quite a fight here, by the looks of things. Must've been sitting on their asses when they were attacked."
Olivine gets up and looks to the side, and spots a large claw mark and a hole on the side of a large crate. She walks over to it and rubs her hand along the side of the hole, finding black residue.
"Bullet hole?" Olivine questions. "None of their weapons could have made this..." She glances at the large claw mark. "But what could have made this?"
"Merc, Oly, over here!" Emerald's voice calls out from behind.
