I've always loved summer, for me it was like winter didn't count summer was what mattered, Me, Steven, and Laurel have been going to Susannah's Beach house, in Cousins since me and Steven were babies. Susannah's 2 sons and her neighbor, Jeremiah, and Conrad, and Y/n were like my family, but I've always had a crush on Conrad, he was different, older, wiser, than us other kids, and that was what I like most about him. We finally arrived at the beach house, we all got out the car Susannah stood there waved and ran up to us she immediately gave my mom and hug then me and Steven. Then I saw y/n she looked different, not bad at all, more beautiful, she always had a sort of elegance to her, she had the best style, she was a year older than me, a lot more outgoing, she was like the big sister I never had "Hey bels! You have no idea how much I missed you while I was in England for boarding school" she said "Me too! I love your outfit, it's so...beachy" I said

(This is your outfit) We laughed, y/n had always been someone I could confide to, and when we had ever argued for some dumb reason, she always forgive, that was the one thing I loved about her she never holds grudges. I see Jeremiah he runs up to me gives me the biggest hug and spins me around. "BELLYYY! I missed you so much, we gotta go to the beach later on" he said enthusiastically "Sure, hey where's Conrad?" I said "Oh, he should be coming" he replied And then I saw him, my heart skipped a beat, it was like I couldn't breathe, I could see his tan, slightly lighter hair from the sun, and his little side smirk as he saw me. " Hey belly." he said " Hi con, how have you been?" I asked "Good" he replied awkwardly Then I heard Steven say, " Hey guys I think it's time for a..." " BELLY FLOP!" they all join in I try to run away and Conrad grabs me y/n takes one arm, Jeremiah and Steven take my leg, run to the backyard and throw me into the pool. That was how you start a good summer.
