Fast forward 8pm After awhile we woke up and I went to take a shower, then I came back to check on y/n and she was reading her favorite book that I'd see her read a million times, " It's Not Summer Without You." By Jenny Han. I lied on her bed, scrolled on my phone for a little until she rested her book on her chest. "What is it" I asked " Jeremiah, I think that what best for the both of us is if we don't start anything again. It was too painful for the both of us." My heart felt like it had shattered into a million pieces " Jeremiah?"she asked I cleared my throat, "oh uh.. yea I agree." "Let's pinky promise we won't let anything like that get in between our friendship again."she said I reached my pinky out to her, but also putting my other hand behind my back, crossing my fingers, so she wouldn't see. " I have an idea, you'll love it." I told her "Put something comfortable on and meet me in Conrad's car in 30 minutes." I said "Ok?" She laughed

I went to the store and bought all of her favorite snacks; starburst, Reese, nerds ropes, etc, and Blankets, pillows I made it back to the house and she was waiting on the stairs and I told her everything was ready She got in the car and asked, " Jere where are we going?" She asked "Cmon just trust me I'll be fun." We pulled in to parking lot of the drive in, when it was the beginning of her favorite oldies movie ever, "Sabrina".
(Author' Note. Sabrina is what the "Summer I Turned Pretty" was based off, for those who don't know, about a girl who was an unattractive, comes back after the summer a new woman. really ironic huh, anyways check out both versions, the 1960s and the 1990s, my personal favorite it the 1990s version)

She asked and I turned to her " I don't know just thought" " you thought wrong, remember when we would sneak down to the living room when the moms were asleep and watch scary movies." " yea, I also remember you made me hug you during the movies cause you were to scared." I laughed " shut up!" She said while throw a pillow at me " Well come closer." She asked " it not scary, it's a romance movie "i laughed "So?" "You know while i was in England I thought about calling you everyday." "Really, why didn't you?" I asked her "I kinda thought I'd be last person you'd wanna hear from after so long." "No I wanted to call you every day, I missed you ." I smiled and she lied on my chest for the rest of the movie
