The Summer Everthing Changed

Chapter 6/ Narrator: Belly

(I'm gonna skip to the part where belly and Jeremiah going looking for Conrad and they find him at the house, Susannah is dead already too)

We pulled up to the house and I saw Conrads car, and all the memories came flooding back, and I was scared to walk into the house and face him again, when I hadn't seen him since the funeral.
"what's she doing here?" He said
"Conrad why are you here, we went to Brown to check on your ass." Jeremiah said defending me
Then we heard the doorbell ring Conrad went to go check.
"Hey don't pay him any mind ok." Jeremiah said to me
We heard talking in the background, then peeked out and saw y/n, she and Conrad were talking, and told her to come in.
"hi guys."she said
I walked over and gave her a hug. The last time I saw her was at the funeral she didn't talk much, y/n tried to keep it together at the funeral but she couldn't, she went upstairs to Susannah's room and sat on the floor and cried the whole time until it was time to leave.
"Conrad texted me to come, i didn't know you guys were coming."she said
" The house is up for sale."Conrad blurted out
"What?" Jeremiah said
"Y/n texted me, said she saw a for sale sign, I came immediately and ripped that stupid sign out."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Jeremiah asked
"Sorry." She said to him
I could tell there was tension between Jeremiah and y/n, I didn't know why but something had to have happened between them, usually Jeremiah would run right over to her but he didn't, he just stood there.

A few days later Steven and Taylor came, me  and Jeremiah went to see aunt Julia no luck. Then she came while we all when to the fair and cleaned the house out.
