It's the first day of fall, and as if on cue the once green leaves of the trees crumpled to a misty brown, creating a thin blanket across the streets and roads. Antonio stuck true to his words, making sure to check up on me every once in a while, which was by all means necessary.
His men would take turns checking up on me when Antonio was busy and to my surprise, Marcus eventually got onto my good side after this one time when he gasp apologised for his actions?
It's adorable to see Antonio keeping his men in line, and it's hot too.
He'd come by and sleep over at times, making sure to keep me company but I'm pretty sure part of the reason was to binge watch that medical drama series again. This man basically proved this himself when he told me he's been 'catching up' in his own time. Fucking cute.
I've been sure to do the same, visiting him every once in a while. Those times would usually end up being surprise visits whenever I noticed him getting stressed throughout the day. Antonio was a busy man—no doubt, and I salute him for his efforts to try and hide it from me.
Of course, I'd be lying if I said I didn't visit him to cuddle Bear in my sleep. Yes, it took severally attempts of begging but at this point Antonio has grown to letting Bear roam around the house in my favour, not forgetting the few times he'd be left outside at night—which was probably for the best.
We both had our guilty pleasures, could you blame us?
Last night was one of those nights, and sooner then later I felt my senses heighten slowly as I began to wake up, fluttering my eyes open before glancing around Antonio's bedroom. The soothing bittersweet warmth of the sun made its presence, evident by the gentle hums I let out. This man had one of the softest fucking beds ever, making it a challenge to get myself up and ready for the day.
I was laying on my side, wearing one of Antonio's shirts, as well as a pair of thin white g-string panties. His shirts were comfy—very comfy and I'm sure he purposely played blind to me whenever I stole one that I liked. "Tonio." I grumbled groggily, my vision still slightly blurred. "Where are you?"
My hand explored blindly, patting the bed before I heard the sounds of it hitting flesh—a furry, thick and warm coat. My arms unknowingly wrapped around Bear, who seemed to have stolen Antonio's spot on the bed. With a groan, I pushed myself up, looking down at the dog who glanced back up at me with droopy eyes. "You're not Antonio."
He let out a whine, his tail wagging once I started to curl and uncurl my fingers, scratching him. His heavy head strained lifting it up, panting before rolling onto his back, silently asking for more.
"Well I'm not gonna say no." I chuckled, leaning over to blow raspberries onto his tummy. He gave me a surprised look before getting straight back to his task of acting like an adorable fucking dog and panted.
I gave him a few belly rubs before finally sitting up to stretch. Antonio wasn't anywhere in the room, yet the warmth of his weight on the bed laid present. With an encouragement from Bear once he hopped off and scratched at the door, I pulled myself up onto unsteady feet and walked out.
My hand found a way to the railing of the staircase and I walked down slowly, Bear nearly tripping me off course when he suddenly rushed down with ease, dashing towards the kitchen where I heard Antonio let out a surprised grunt before scolding at the dog. Guess I found him.
Taking my time walking in with my curls an absolute clusterfuck, I reached the kitchen, looking up to see Antonio standing at the kitchen island, pouring hot frothy milk into a cup before giving it a mix. He wore his classic grey sweatpants, his nude chest out on display with his dark hair ruffled up a bit—not forgetting his eyes which were struggling to stay open. Hot—Antonio was smoking hot. I wanted him to fuck me right on the kitchen counter.
