After what happened with Hyeon Ju she was taken to a infirmary by me, On jo, Isak and Su hyeok then I went to the washroom to clean the blood on my hands that touched her hands.

Emerging from the washroom, I hastily tied up my hair, which had become a bit unruly. After freshening up in the bathroom, I made my way downstairs to the bustling school cafeteria. The aroma of freshly cooked food wafted through the air, making my stomach rumble in anticipation.

I pulled out my phone which was spare and I did not give to Ms Park and plugged in my earphones, losing myself in the melody of my favorite song. The world around me seemed to fade away as I swayed slightly to the rhythm.

Approaching the counter, I caught the attention of the cafeteria staff. A friendly woman with a warm smile greeted me, "What can I get you, dear?"

I paused my music and replied, "Could I have a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of hot chocolate, please?"

"Coming right up!" the woman responded cheerfully, turning to prepare the order.

As I waited, I resumed the music, tapping my fingers on the counter in sync with the beat. The comforting familiarity of the song, combined with the anticipation of a warm meal, brought a content smile to my face.

I saw Isak calling me over and On jo beckoned me to come sit with them as well but in a moment few st, my heart skipped a beat. The familiar school had transformed into a scene from a horror movie. Students were scrambling for safety as some of them had horrifyingly turned into zombies. A group of students staggered in, their faces pale and eyes vacant. They were zombies.

A collective scream echoed through the cafeteria as everyone realized the horror unfolding before them. Panic ensued as students scrambled in every direction, desperately trying to escape.

I felt my heart pounding in my chest as I watched some of my classmates get caught by the zombies. Their screams of pain were drowned out by the chaos. I saw them fall, their bodies convulsing as the transformation took over.

Blood was streaming down their faces, and their broken bones were visible through torn flesh. They were mumbling incoherently, a chilling sound that sent shivers down my spine.

"No...this can't be happening," I  whispered to myself, my voice trembling with fear.

Without thinking, I turned and ran, my survival instincts kicking in. I weaved through the pandemonium, narrowly avoiding a zombie that lunged at me.

"I need to find a safe place," I  thought, my mind racing.

I reached for the two instant noodle cups, two knifes, a bottle of water I had nearby having skipped breakfast. I stuffed them into my coat's side pocket, a small comfort in the face of impending danger since who knows when we will be able to come here.

I also grabbed a few forks which look sharp at least from a nearby shelf, intending to use them as makeshift weapons. With a quick glance around, I made a beeline for a window, keeping as much distance as possible from the zombies.

With a swift climb, I managed to get out, but the exertion caused me to drop to my knees on the outside floor. I quickly scanned my surroundings. The cafeteria was not that far from the classroom, a fact I noted for future reference.

Spotting an empty classroom nearby, I sprinted towards it. I could hear the chilling sounds of the chaos behind me, the screams and growls sending shivers down her spine. I can't seem to find On Jo while running here I did not even see Isak I was scared to think they might have become zombies.

With a final burst of energy, I reached the classroom and quickly shut the door behind her, leaning against it to catch her breath. She was safe, for now.
