The room was filled with a palpable tension as Su Hyeok resumed holding my hand. His grip was firm, yet gentle, a silent promise of protection. His gaze was fixed on me, his eyes reflecting a myriad of emotions. I watched the exchange carefully, my heart pounding in my chest. Unbeknownst to me, a pair of brown eyes were watching me from a distance, a hint of hurt flickering in their depths.

"Su Hyeok, what will we do if the adults don't come? What will happen to all of us?"  I asked barely above a whisper. The question hung in the air, a stark reminder of our grim reality. We were alone, left to fend for ourselves in a world that seemed to have forgotten us.

Su Hyeok's face turned a shade of red, a clear indication of his concern. He looked at her, his gaze softening. "Don't worry about it," he said, his voice steady despite the uncertainty of our situation. "I'll protect you."

A soft giggle escaped my lips as I leaned my head on Su Hyeok's shoulder. The room was filled with a palpable tension, but in that moment, it felt like we were the only two people in the world. "Does that make you my knight in green armour?" I asked, a playful lilt in my voice. His response was immediate, a soft chuckle that warmed my heart. "It does make me maybe," he said, his voice filled with mirth. He smiled at me, a teasing grin that reached his eyes, and held my hand. His touch was comforting, a silent promise of protection.

The mood shifted as I voiced my fears. "If for some reason I die, take care of yourself," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. His reaction was immediate and intense. "Shinae, shut up. You're not going to die, I won't allow it. Just don't say something like that," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. His words were a plea, a desperate attempt to deny the possibility of my death.

"But if I do..." I continued, unable to stop the words from spilling out. He cut me off before I could finish, his voice firm and resolute. "I will keep you safe. As I am your knight, I vow to keep you safe, Shinae," he said, his thumb gently rubbing circles on my hand. His words were a balm to my fears, a promise that he would do everything in his power to protect me.

"Just, don't say that," he sighed, his voice filled with frustration. I didn't respond, choosing instead to let the silence speak for me. I was annoyed that he was insistent on the subject. I cared for him and wanted him to be safe if I were to die. His refusal to acknowledge the possibility was both comforting and frustrating. But in the end, I knew that his stubbornness stemmed from his concern for me.

"Hey. I feel weird for saying this, but-" Su-hyeok began, his voice trailing off as he glanced around the room. His words hung in the air, a silent question that everyone seemed to understand. But before he could finish his sentence, Wu-jin came near and sat down beside him. With a swift motion, he smacked Su-hyeok lightly on the shoulder, a clear signal to stop. "Don't say it," he said, his voice firm.

The room fell into an awkward silence, the tension palpable. It was then that Su-hyeok decided to break the silence with a rather peculiar question. "Does anyone else have to go to the bathroom by chance?......Am I the only one?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of embarrassment and genuine curiosity. His question was met with a chorus of laughter, a welcome relief from the tense atmosphere.

"I've been holding in a piss all day," Suho admitted, a sheepish grin on his face. His confession was met with more laughter, the tension in the room slowly dissipating. "I need to go as well," Dae-su chimed in, his voice filled with amusement. His admission made more laughter.

"We have to go, too, actually. But we can't go out," Hyo-ryung said, her voice filled with frustration.

"Why are you blaming me for this? Su-hyeok brought it up. Pooping is not a crime," Dae-su said, his voice filled with indignation. His words, though unexpected, brought a sense of levity to the room, making me chuckle. It was a much-needed break from the tension that had been building up.
