The air was thick with fear as Nayeon skidded to a halt, her eyes wide with terror as a grotesque zombie emerged from the shadowy staircase. She fell backwards, landing hard on the cold floor, her whimper echoing through the eerie silence. In her panic, she pushed me forward, placing me between her and the snarling creature.

"What the fu-"I stammered, my heart pounding in my chest as I stumbled forward. The zombie, its eyes red with an glint, started charging at us, its decaying hands reaching out with a hunger for the living.

From the back of our group, Su-hyeok sprang into action. With a determined look on his face, he rushed forward, launching himself into a powerful jump kick. The impact sent the zombie sprawling onto the floor. Without missing a beat, Su-hyeok ran towards the other zombies, pushing them away with his bare hands and sheer force. His bravery was a beacon in our terror-filled hearts, giving us the courage to cower behind him.

Cheong-san, seeing Nayeon in distress, pushed her gently aside. He pulled me up, his grip firm and reassuring. My eyes as the cold steel glinting ominously under the dim light. I turned to Nayeon, her eyes filled with a steely determination that sent a chill down the girl's spine. The color drained from Nayeon's face, her mind filled with the horrifying thought that she would be the next target. But instead, I turned around, joining Su-hyeok in the frontlines.

With a deep breath, I charged at the horde of zombies. My fists clenched, I landed punch after punch, each hit sending a zombie reeling backwards. The sound of snarls and growls filled the air, but I didn't let it deter me. I kicked, punched, and fought with all my might, my every move aimed at keeping the zombies away from our group.

The sight of me, a petite figure compared to Su-hyeok's towering height, fighting with such courage, seemed to snap the other boys out of their daze. They sprang into action, grabbing whatever they could find to defend themselves. Some ripped off the wooden window frames from the adjacent room, their faces set in grim determination.

However, in the midst of the chaos, a zombie managed to tackle me to the ground. I was caught off guard while I was busy stabbing another one of the undead creatures. We fell onto the cold, hard floor, the zombie's snarls echoing chillingly close to my face. A mixture of saliva and blood dripped from its grotesque mouth, staining my uniform in a horrifying reminder of the danger I was in.

I grunted, using one hand to keep the snarling zombie at bay while my other hand desperately reached for my fallen knife. The cold metal was just inches away, glinting ominously under the flickering lights. My fingers stretched out, straining to grasp the handle as the zombie continued to struggle against my hold.

With a final surge of adrenaline, I managed to grab the knife. Without wasting a second, I plunged it into the zombie's head. The creature let out a final, guttural groan before its body went limp, collapsing onto the floor.

But there was no time to rest. I quickly scrambled to my feet, my heart pounding in my chest as I faced the remaining horde of zombies. Each one was a terrifying reminder of the fight for survival we were in. But I was not going to back down. Not when the lives of my friends were at stake.

With renewed determination, I charged back into the fray. My knife danced in my hand, slicing through the air as I fought off the zombies one by one. Each successful hit was a small victory, a testament to my will to survive. The battle was far from over, but I was ready to fight until the very end.

The sound of Dae-su's voice echoed through the room, a commanding roar that cut through the guttural snarls of the undead. "Yah! Get out of the way!" he bellowed, his voice filled with a determination that sent a jolt of courage through our hearts. With a strength born of desperation, he charged towards the horde of zombies, a whole door gripped firmly in his hands. The sight was almost surreal, a beacon of hope amidst the terror-filled chaos.
