We played a few games that Amy had. They were all boring but we still played them either way.
Amy won most of them since she made all of them up. She's such a cheater.
No one seemed to care if she won most of them. They were just glad they were here.
Of course I had to say something about her cheating tactics.
No one seemed to care about what I wanted to say about it. Well, thats what I thought at least.
Until someone spoke up.
"I agree with Bruce. How about we make up another game?"
I turned around, my eyes landing on Vance. Why would he agree with me? I'm glad he did but why?
Hearing Vance agreeing, everyone else also agreed, leaving Amy confused.
She nodded her head and let Billy pick a game to play.
He had to pick the most basic game ever.
Truth or Dare
We all agreed to play the game but we each stated that if we didn't want to answer a truth or play a dare then we could skip.
Amy went first of course.
She grabbed a bottle from her desk and placed it in the middle, spinning it.
The bottle kept spinning until it landing on Billy.
He was smiling cause he got picked for truth or dare but he was also scared, not knowing what Amy was going to ask him.
"Billy..Truth or Dare?" Amy said as she was staring into Billy's soul, waiting for him to answer.
It took him a few minutes to actually think about it. He didn't have anything to hide so he just went with his gut and chose truth.
Amy frowned at his answer and tried coming up with a good truth to give him.
I could see she was having a difficult time coming up with one so I decided to help her.
I whispered in her ear and she shot up a glare at Billy with a grin on her face, which made Billy tremble in fear.
"Bruce..what did you tell her!?"
I quickly sat back at my spot and shrugged, pretending I didn't know a thing.
Amy stood up, pointed directly at Billy and said "is it true that you have a fear of the dark!?"
Billy shot a glare at Amy. Amy sat back down and waited for his answer.
Billy sighed softly and gave it to them straight.
"Yes..I'm scared of the dark. Terrified actually.."
I kinda felt bad. There are many people who are scared of the dark. I mean, Keiko and Tarō are still scared of the dark but that's a whole different story.
Every just jokingly laughed at Billy. Billy also started laughing, knowing they weren't really laughing at him badly.
It was my turn.
I spinned the bottle which landed on Keiko..KEIKO!?
What in the world..she was here the entire time? Sitting in between Robin and Amy.
They all turned their heads towards Keiko and screamed loudly, like they have seen a ghost.
Keiko laughed at the screaming children.
Amy stood up, waving her hands in the air and said "that's not funny! You gave me a heart attack!"
Keiko shrugged her shoulders and stood up. She walked towards me and sat down between me and Amy.
Keiko yawned and fell on my lap, asleep.
It seems like she hasn't slept in a while. Maybe I should let her sleep for now?
I gently touched her hair, slightly petting her.
Amy looked at Keiko and frowned.
She went on top of Keiko and laid on her stomach, hugging her tightly.
I could tell Keiko was still awake. Or she's just smiling in her sleep, and hugging Amy in her sleep. It could be, I don't know.
I stared at the others.
"Um..you guys still tired?"
Billy shrugged his shoulders. He grabbed Griffins wrist and went beside me, laying his head on my shoulder. Griffin stared at Billy and smiled. He then laid his head on Billy's shoulder.
No ones pov:
Vance looked at Billy and Griffin, then at Bruce.
Vance sighed and went behind Bruce, hugging him tightly from behind, resting his head on Bruce's head.
Robin grabbed Finney's hand and ran down stairs, trying not to wake any of them up.
I guess they aren't tired.
Bruce heard the TV from downstairs and chattering.
Bruce smiled widely and drifted off, falling asleep.
He never thought that someday, he would have them as friends.
He wonders..if he can trust them enough to tell them his secret..
He worries that if he does tell them..they'll distance themselves away from him.
He doesn't want that to happen. He was happy with their company. Really happy and he didn't want it to end.
He's happy to just have his family with him, but sometimes that is just not enough.
He loves his family but..someone comes over every 9 months. It's always on cue.
