Tarō's pov:
Amy barged into my room and told me I needed to go downstairs. She didn't say why though. I'm trusting her and going downstairs.
I went downstairs. Everyone else was also there. Keiko, Trixie, Bruce, and of course Amy. There was also a random stranger next to mom. I went to sit down on the couch and waited for an explanation cause I have no idea what's going on right now.
No ones pov:
Miyu (Bruce's mom) stood up. She sighed softly and looked at her children. She smiled softly at them and said "children, this is Berenice. She's from the ocean. She's also a member of the royal guards. That's why she has a trident with her, along with armor"
They all looked at Berenice. They nod their head and looked back at their mom, Miyu. Trixie is looking at Berenice like she just murdered her entire family. Trixie knows something is terribly wrong. Why is she here after so many years? Bruce told them they left the ocean when he was 5. He's 15 now, which means 10 years past by. Why is she here after 10 years. None of this makes any sense.
Trixie looked down at the floor and sighed. She opened her mouth and said "why is she here after 10 years?"
Miyu turned to look at Trixie. She doesn't understand what she means by that. She quietly asked Trixie what she was talking about. Trixie chuckled silently and yelled "you all left the ocean when Bruce was 5, but now he's 15. 10 years has past by. Why did she all of a sudden come all the way here after 10 fucking years!"
Miyu stared at her daughter in shock. Trixie has never cussed before. She didn't know and just thought she hated it and thought it was rude. Why start now.
Miyu sighed and said "Trixie, please watch your language"
Trixie shook her head and continued "Mom, think about it. If she wanted to just come here and visit then why did she have to bring her trident and why is she wearing her armor if she's just here to visit you after 10 years"
Miyu thought about it and agreed with Trixie. The royal guards aren't allowed to bring their trident or wear their armor if they aren't on the job. But She has both.
Miyu sighed and asked Berenice "why are you here?"
Berenice stayed quiet. She stood up and said "I was sent here by his majesty. He wants you to come home right away"
Miyu shakes her head and says "I can't leave my children. Bruce and Amy can breathe under water but Keiko, Tarō and Trixie can't. Me and Riku adopted them here on land. They can't go down there"
Berenice turned to look at the three children. She sighed and turned back to look at Miyu. "I'm sorry, Miyu. I have to follow his highnesses orders"
Bruce is having trouble understanding what's happening.
Berenice takes Miyu's arm and just vanishes out of thin air. Bruce is staring at the now empty seat. He quickly stands up from where he was sitting. He scans the entire room, but theres no sign of his mom.
He turned to look at the others but they also don't know what's happening. They are so confused. Then, they hear footsteps coming down the stairs. Bruce turns his head to see who it was. It's Vance. He looks quite shocked. Bruce cussed himself out for letting him stay here. Now he's going to find out about everything.
Bruce walks towards him and gently taps his shoulders. He looks at Bruce, trying to figure out what just happened.
"What the fuck just happened!? Did that person just kidnap your mom!? What the fuck!?" He yelled.
Bruce looked down at the ground. tears started to stream down his face. He couldn't hold it in. Vance's face softens. He stares at Bruce for a quick second. He wraps his arms around Bruce's waist and pulls him in for a hug. Vance strokes Bruce's hair gently, trying to calm him down. Bruce hugs Vance back and just let's it all come down. He cries and cries. Vance just stood there, not saying a word. He wants Bruce to let out all of his tears. He doesn't want him to push his feelings back.
Vance then starts to whispers things into Bruce's ear. Soft and sweet things. Bruce can't help but smile. He buries his face in Vance's neck. After a few minutes, Bruce pulls away from the hug. He stares into Vance's eyes. Vance leans in slowly and pressed his lips against Bruce's, giving Bruce a sweet and gently kiss. Vance then pulls away from the kiss, hugging Bruce again. He then says "don't worry, Bruce. We'll find your mom"
Bruce smiles softly at Vance and let's go of the hug again. He turned to his siblings and said "we need to go get the others because there might be a bunch of people guarding. And also dad"
They all nodded their head and went upstairs to where their dad was. They opened the door and there he was, sleeping peacefully.
Amy ran up to him and jumped onto his bed, causing him to wake up immediately. He grabbed Amy and stopped her from jumping again.
"Amy, why" he said, clearly still tired.
Amy started bawling her eyes out, saying a bunch of stuff which didn't make any sense. He turned to look at his kids, hoping they'd help translate what she's saying.
Bruce sighed and told him everything. His face quickly turned sour at the mention of his wife in captivity. He got up and went downstairs. He opened the door and left.
They all stared at the door. Wondering when he'll come back since he has no idea where they went. Not even 5 seconds later, he came back.
"Took you long enough" Trixie said.
Riku sighed and left again, but this time everyone left too. Riku told everyone to go separate places. Bruce and Vance are going to the Grab n' go to get the others while Trixie and Tarō are going to the nearest ocean and Riku and Amy are going to a different part of the ocean.
Bruce and Vance got to the Grab n' go and began searching for the others. It didn't take long since it was a small store. They found them in the candy aisle still. Vance took them outside, which made them confused. They all asked Vance why they brought them outside. He didn't answer and left Bruce to answer them instead.
He explained to them everything that has happened in the last 24 hours. They all look shocked except Finney and Griffin of course. They had a bunch of questions which he didn't answer since they still have to go to Trixie and Tarō.
He explained a few more stuff to them on the way to the ocean. They got there and I quickly ran in.
They all looked at him like he was crazy. But they followed. Bruce then realized they couldn't breathe in water so he has to figure out a way to make them breathe water.

Time skip
Bruce's pov:
I managed to find a way to help them breathe under water. I don't know how so don't ask.
It was getting hopeless. The ocean is huge. We won't be able to find them. I then bumped into dad and Amy. I was glad to see them. I would of gotten lost If I went further in the ocean.
They haven't found mom yet. We were all thinking of coming back tomorrow to keep checking but I don't want to just give up on her. I won't.
I went further down the ocean. I kept going, until i saw beautiful blue lights. It should be impossible for lights to still be on this deep into the ocean.
I followed the lights all the way down. Which led me to a huge castle. There was also houses down here. It was like a lost city was buried down here.
I then heard some loud cries coming from down there. I went further down and the cries got louder and louder. I then saw her. She seemed like she was crying. No, she is crying. I wonder whats happening to make her cry that much. They weren't tears of sadness, they were happy tears. I smiled at her, then called everyone else to where I was at. They peaked and saw her talking to some old person. He has a trident too. What's wrong with people down here and tridents.

This is the longest chapter I've done! it might not be good but it's something! Next wednesday is going to be when the last chapter of this is going to be published! I published this one a day before I actually have to publish it because why not? 🤷♀️
