It had officially been a month since Bella had started at camp, meaning she had been away at 'boarding school' for four weeks. Bella knew early on that Carissa probably wouldn't fall for it— gone in the middle of the night, no contact, she didn't even finish her junior year.

That's why it's no surprise when Chiron comes up to her at breakfast, where she's sitting quietly next to Percy, who's trying to goad Thalia into making a mini rain cloud to follow around Clarisse. Bella thinks the Ares girl would find a way to destroy the cloud before a drop of water even touched her, but Percy seems confident she couldn't get rid of a cloud.

"Ms. Glen, may I speak to you?" The half horse appears beside the table, looking tired.

"Of course, Chiron," Bella says, climbing quickly off the bench and leaving Annie to dissuade Percy's antics. The man leads her around the dining hall until they're both walking towards the beach. It's a beautiful day at the very beginning of July, hot and dry.

"Now, Ms. Glen, I believe we discussed your... family situation when you arrived last month," He pauses, looking down at her, "Your sister has been... more than persistent that she be able to contact you. Your father is quite tired of hearing her whine, so we've coordinated a time for you to go see her while they're in the city this week." A smile breaks across her face, making the man beside her smile too— it's infectious.

"When am I going? Can I bring a friend too? Like Thalia or Percy? Should I do something about my wings?" Bella asks in quick succession, questions popping into her brain the more she thinks about it. She gets to see her sister, holy shit.

"You're going on Saturday for lunch downtown, and yes you can bring a friend or two," Chiron looks back at her wings, "And I don't know if there's anything to be done about your wings. I very well can't get rid of them, so they'll have to stay."

"That's fine," She nods towards the dining hall, "Can I head back to the dining hall? I have to catch up with Percy before our class this morning." She smiles when Chiron waves her off, before darting off to find Percy.

She finds him standing next to the Big House, waiting for Bella patiently, "Hey, Perce! Sorry, Chiron had to talk to me about something," Her smile is brighter than normal, she can tell, but it doesn't bother her because she was going to see her sister.

"You seem happy this morning, good news?" Percy asks with a laugh while they make their way toward the pit where they conducted sword fighting class.

She smiles even more, "Chiron's letting me go see my sister while she's here this week. He actually said I could bring a few people." Bella makes it obvious she's talking about him, and he laughs again.

"Sure. Anyone else coming, or are we going solo?" Percy flicks Riptide out of his pocket, and Bella watches it expand with glowing eyes. She would never get over how cool that was.

"Maybe Jason? Annie and Thalia both have dining hall duty that day, but Jason should be free," Her own practice sword is in her hand, her daggers put away safely for the class time.

Bella specializes in daggers and throwing knives, but that doesn't mean she can't kick some real ass with a sword. Her father had made sure of that.

"Sounds like a plan," Percy starts to pull out the training dummies, "Is your sister bringing anyone? Or is it just her?"

"Should be just her. Our driver will likely drop her off, but Carissa isn't really close with anyone in our family. She might bring Jasper, but I doubt my stepmother will let him out of her sight." The Ares kids had started trickling in while she was speaking, chattering and rough housing like always.

"Jasper is your little brother, right?"

"Yup. They're technically both my half siblings, but we're as close as blood," Her stare dared Percy to say anything about it, but he didn't. Thank the gods.
