The Gyojin girl was standing in the dark hallway, taking a block of posit from her white coat, she slowly opened one of the doors. It seems to be the crew quarters, with a grin she entered inside and took one of the posit, writing in it "I catch you all", before sticking it in the door. She made her way to the bunk where Heat and Wire slept. "Mr Loverboy, stop simping and focus.", "You look more focused than your bestie, prove it." She wrote this on two different notes and stuck them on the pirates' foreheads. Vidia was now in Killer's room, almost choking when she saw the man without the mask on "I'll pretend I haven't seen anything, but you need to bring your captain down to earth. And next time put someone competent for the surveillance". And finally Eustass Kid, "I win, again" she wrote as she drew a little doddle. Satisfied, she left the pirate ship to return home and get some rest after a day of hard work.

Vidia laid peacefully on her bed, utterly exhausted. Two months had passed and having to take care of a band of unruly pirates while working at her clinic had taken a toll on her well-being.

Although she had to say that the pirates were taking her advice. Ever since she left those notes, the surveillance had significantly improved. Now, they could sense the Gyogin presence on the ship more effectively. Additionally, Heat behaved less like a simp, as he was hired by Wire every time he became distracted by Vidia's presence. However, "Mr. Loverboy" used to pay her visits once he finished his training or she returned from work, and the woman had to admit that she didn't mind his company at all. Beneath that facade of a tough and silent man was someone with whom she found it very easy to converse. It is necessary to mention that Heat was no longer poisoned; after a few weeks, Vidia sneaked into his cabin again and administered the antidote, of course without anyone noticing. Although she had to admit that it seemed like everyone had forgotten the fact that one of their comrades was supposedly poisoned, as no one appeared concerned about it.

Kid, on the other hand, remained a persistent annoyance, and not even Killer could rein him in. However, Vidia sensed that he was now able to withstand her punches, and he was now able to use haki, nothing impressive, but it was an improvement. The problem with that is that now the pirate captain was eager for a fight with the fish-woman and kept bothering her about it.

Unfortunately, the redhead still doesn't give a shit about her health, and, once again, he was screaming like crazy outside her house. "Lord, give me patience because otherwise I'll kill him" She thought, covering her head with a pillow, trying to dampen the pirate's screams. Frustrated with his childish attitude, she stood up abruptly. Taking the vase from her nightstand, she opened the window to peer out angrily.

-Shut up, pepper-head!- She used her haki to envelop the vase before tipping it toward Kid. The redhead defended himself by shielding one of his arms with haki.

-Ha! You failed!- He mocked, Vidia was certain she could sense a vein throbbing in her head- Haha! You are not as strong as you pretend to be!- Chuckling, he observed Vidia coming out of her house in her pajamas, moving toward him with an irritated expression, grinding her sharp teeth, while covering his fist with haki.

-I'm trying to sleep, you moron!- Her fist struck his face, even though he had protected himself with haki, he couldn't avoid falling to the ground- When you are able to stop my hits I will consider fighting with you! So stop being an annoying brat!

-Don't call me brat, sardine-woman!- Kid yelled in response as he grappled with his master.

- Stop acting like a spoiled child!- Fed up, she gave him a bump on the head before heading home, leaving the angry pirate captain grumbling on the ground.

The same story every day: Kid would go to her house, nagging her to fight him. She would give him a couple of punches and then return home, repeating the cycle over and over again. The worst part was that day after day, Kid was getting better, becoming more resistant to her punches. It might have seemed like a strange training method, but it worked. According to Heat, after every encounter Kid would return to the ship grumbling and immediately start training. Even if she didn't say it, Vidia was proud of the progress the pirates had made in such a short time.

Vidia changed her clothes, putting on her usual attire, and headed to the kitchen to put a pot of coffee on the stove. It was almost certain that Heat would visit her at this time, it was as if he took the captain returning to the ship battered as a sign that he could come to see her. So she grabbed two cups directly from the shelf while waiting for the coffee to brew and the blue-haired man to arrive. As she took the coffee pot off the stove, she could see her favorite pirate approaching her house. Before he could ring the bell, the violet-haired woman had already opened the door for him.

-Morning, Mr Loverboy!- She greeted him, and Heat opened his mouth to say something but was quickly interrupted- Nop! I won't date you, but you can come in, I made coffee- She said with a smile, stepping aside to let him enter.

Another repetitive pattern in their routine. The blue-haired man would always abruptly ask her out, and she would consistently refuse. At this point, it was more of an inside joke. If circumstances were different, the Gyojin woman might have considered accepting one of his dates, but she knew their relationship wouldn't lead anywhere. Even if there were a chance to develop feelings for the blue-haired pirate, she knew that sooner or later their paths would have to diverge. Therefore, she preferred to maintain their relationship as a platonic friendship. She was their mentor; once they were ready, she would let them continue their adventure, while she would return to her daily routine.

-So... How is Kid?- She asked with a mischievous smile as she poured the coffee, knowing that her captain would be fuming.

-Once again, he arrived on the ship like a wild beast, couldn't stop insulting you, and then locked himself in his workshop- He commented, earning a laugh from the woman.

-Ha! He is so predictable- She smiles, handing one of the cups to Heat, who did not hesitate to take- He has improved more than I would like to admit. If he keeps it up, you won't have to put up with me much longer. Lucky you!

-That's a shame...- Heat looked at her with sad eyes.

-Oh, come on, don't give me that look, you know this would come. So cheer up! You are all getting stronger! There is nothing to be sad about!- Even if she said that, Vidia couldn't help but feel a little sad at the idea of letting them go. She had grown fond of the noisy group of pirates.

-Why don't you join us?
