. . . Oh my God, that just happened...

Silence... Horror was breathing heavily and was still.

Cage's head rolled to the floor and stopped abruptly next to your bed, his eyes wide, but his smile wider, as if the thought that he had been decapitated hadn't even occurred to him.

You could barely move, the only light being from the door, and Horror and Cage's eye sockets. Cage blinks, then his skull starts to cave in, turning to dust. His body already trickling to the ground with his clothes wrapping around the dust his bones turned into.

Bright tears formed around Cage's eye sockets, they fell down his cheek bones to the floor. You both stare at each other, you, the human, staring back at a monster skeleton head lying on the floor.... He laughed, then disappeared completely...

Horror turned towards you, seeping with energy. The smell of your blood wafted into your nose. If you could smell it, Horror definitely could. Horror covered his mouth and failed at catching the saliva that dripped out. Gasping and sucking back his saliva he pulled himself along the wall out of the room.

.

. . . It's a little while before Horror comes back and heals all of your wounds. He had a stick filled with healing magic that healed your skin and left no visible scars. The sky was still pitch black. Horror gazed into your eyes with his one piercing red eyelight. Gone. He had snapped his fingers and gone away.

You were so thankful that he had saved you from being clawed alive.

. . . Sleep sounded pretty good right now. You had fallen into your pillow and pulled your blanket up to your chin. Sleep. . .

The sun rose up high enough it shone through your window onto your face. You were starving. Your stomach cursed you out in a thousand different ways.

Knock knock

"Come in." Cross opened the door and slipped in. You still lay in your bed. Cross stood awkwardly in front of the door. "We're going out," Cross's 'lips' we're trembling with what seemed to be anticipation or withdrawal symptoms?

Cross had brought a change of clothes with him and tossed them on the bed. "Here, wear these." You jumped up as soon as he turned around and you put on the clothes he had given you.

"I'm ready." Cross turned around after hearing your words of confirmation. He grabbed your hand and teleported you both.

A rich, milky, creamy smell smacked you right across the face. You were in a chocolate store? Yup. Chocolate everywhere. Cross didn't let go of your hand, he held on tighter actually. Dragging you all over the store throwing chocolate into his cart basket with his free hand, he wasn't squeezing your hand too tightly, but tight enough you couldn't pull away.

There was a free samples table, you stopped and looked at it. There were toothpicks sticking out of the chocolate on little plates. "Try one!" Said a sales lady. "They're free samples," she said.

Cross's interest peaked and he grabbed one and almost placed it on his 'lips'. Instead he moved it towards your mouth and looked at you expectingly. His face tinting with color. You bite the chocolate seeing as it's the only thing you've eaten today.

It tasted heavenly. Cross watched your face looking for any outwards signs of disgust to rave at you about, but there were none, just pure bliss.

Cross's cheek bones lit with purple and his eye sockets closed. He turned his face away and spoke, "What kind of chocolate do you like?"

"What?"

"Answer the question."

"Hm, I like milk chocolate."

He keeps his head facing away from you and drags you and the cart over towards the milk chocolate. He tosses five milk chocolate bars into the cart and opens a portal. He shoved the cart through the portal and drags you with him.

In the kitchen is where you both ended up, unwrapping the chocolate and building little houses with them. Cross's little chocolate house sucked.

It was covered in bite marks and was chipping off. However, your chocolate house was marvelous and crumbling down out of sheer glory of your building skills. Yeah, it didn't look good either.

There was a little star in the corner of the kitchen that you had managed to touch earlier to save. . . You had never noticed it before.

Footsteps filled the halls and entered the kitchen.

Killer walked over to Cross's chocolate house and pounded his fist onto it.

. . .

Cross's eye sockets went red.

Oh no.

Knives covered in red magic floated everywhere in the kitchen air and flurried down on everything in the kitchen. . . Including yourself. Again? Really?

You pressed to continue.
