The bar was packed for a Sunday night. Between our win and both hockey teams, the men's Rams hockey team, and the ladies Bruins winning their games, the whole city was on fire. My phone chimed in my pocket, and I pulled it out, smiling at the text.
HockeyMama: yo, we fucking won. I'm supposed to be on a plane right now heading to New York, but I conned the co into going for me. Where are you?
I smiled, taking a picture of Ruthie on the dance floor with Ellie and a stranger, she was sandwiched between them giving both assholes the time of their lives. I snapped the photo and sent it with the words, At Smiths on the corner of We hate Devan!
HockyMama: Damn she is so hot.
ProBaller: Yes, our girl is hot. I don't know if you know this, but we were both pro's at that dance thing in high school. Gonna go see if she remembers me.
I put my phone away and took a drink of my tequila sunrise before I asked the dj to change the song. I needed the right song to dance with her. I asked for Chunga's Revenge because she loved dancing the tango to it. The first beats started and she smiled, swaying into Ellie. I smiled, tapping Ellie on the shoulder, she grinned at me watching me take over behind Ruthie.
"Will you dance with me, Ru?" I whispered in her ear.
"Always." She whispered, trying to spin around. I laughed, running my hands over her torso, keeping her there while I swayed our hips together back and forth with my hands on the front of her thighs.
"Oh, my baby wants to tango." She whispered, leaning her head against my shoulder, both hands landing on my neck behind her. With all of her stretched out I felt like I could just take her right here.
The song switched to a higher beat of the tango, and I spun her away from me with a flick of my wrist. She spun out, away from me, her hair like a silky cape swaying around her pretty face as she flung herself back into me with a soft sigh that made my crotch twitch at the sound.
I grabbed her hand in all seriousness, eyeing her like she was my everything. And she was. I found myself walking her in a line and then back around into a circle until I pulled her closer. I hiked her leg along my thigh as high as I could, so I could dip her small body to the floor. Staring at her blue eyes all the while. I loved the way she was peering into my soul like she owned it. Her pink cheeks gave her away. My girl was loving this as much as I was.
I dipped her down and shook her body, putting my forehead on her chest for a second before pulling her up into my space, holding her with both hands on her back, as I danced around with her in a full circle before setting her down on the ground.
The song was over and she was hot for me. I could see it in her eyes of lust and desire. I'd longed for that look for so long it was beyond my power to not kiss her. I leaned in, capturing her mouth to mine without thinking about it. She kissed me back after a light gasp, grabbing my face to hers for a moment.
This was our moment and it felt right--
She pushed me away and giggled with a short fake slap and a curt spin back with a clap. The crowd around us roared in with her claps, a few even clapped me on the back telling me good job.
"That's how the tango ends." She laughed.
I grabbed her back to me as another song started, Toxic by Sofia Karlberg. Slow and sensual unlike its original Brittney Spears track. I pulled her to me, putting my arms behind her, holding her closely by my hands on the small of her back.
I was so big I just could take over her right now--
This was always a problem. Me keeping my hands to myself.
