Mandela Carmen. The name was not one that rolled nicely off the tongue, and neither was the girl that owned the name. I was ready to finally face the nasty female who ruined my life in high school. The nasty female who broke my baby's arm. She also destroyed Dru once upon a time, too, and damn if I wasn't out for revenge.
I watched from my bedroom window as cars pulled into the estate, parking behind the barns in the old field by the apple orchard. I was probably stalling because of my outfit, but after seeing so many women in outfits similar to mine, I was almost ready to face the world. I was waiting, though. And I was making my girls wait too.
Then I saw it. The giant yellow Hummer pulled in and out came Mandela, aka- Mandy, she stepped out of the driver's side of the suv wearing a purple bikini and nothing else. She was going to fucking freeze, but looked every bit as sluty as she was supposed to look considering the theme of the party. How charming the once homophobic asshole had a girlfriend dressed in a white suit looking hot. I recognized her as one of the other hockey teammates and gasped. I loved number 9 and recently talked to her over the phone.
"Fuck that's number 9!" I yelled pointing, garnering the attention of Dru and Devan who came over to look.
From here we could see Ellie and Cindy saying hello to the hockey players. Devan next to me scoffed.
"Why are they here? What'd you do?" She asked me, eyeing me sideways as we watched from the the bedrooms window. It kind of felt like I was a giant and Mandy was an ant. I liked it this way. It wasn't very often I felt superior.
"Oh, I took a page from Miranda's book. That girl deserves everything she's about to get. Ready, girlfriends?" I asked, stepping back from the window to smirk at the both of them.
"Does that mean it's a yes?" Dru asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
I frowned. "Duh, didn't I say as much in the bathroom earlier." I shrugged. I thought I was clear. Maybe I hadn't been because I was distracted with tonight's plans.
"No. You ran away like a--" Devan was stopped by Dru covering her mouth with a hand wrapped around her head from behind.
"You ran away, love." Dru finished with a smirk, pulling Devan into a choke hold when she tried to pry her hand away.
"Don't do that cute shit right now, Dru." I chided. "Of course, the answer is yes. Now, sit down on the bed and close your eyes. If your guys' reactions are bad, I'm just gonna change. I'm already in hell wearing this costume." I pulled them with their arms to the bed and made them sit down on the end of it.
"You're a jerk, Dru. Ruining my hair like that, man." Devan complained. I rolled my eyes at her as I was fixing the frazzled ends for her.
"Don't be such a diva, Dev. Later, this costume won't even matter because Dru's gonna take it off when I ask her, too. Just smile until then."
They both turned red as I bounced away from them to the middle of the room. I waited for them to stop the small swatting fight they were in to focus on me.
"Ready?" I asked seductively.
They righted themselves, and both said yes to me. I bit my bottom lip and let the robe fall from my shoulders to allow my very revealing costume to be shown to them. They both gasped and grabbed each other's hands. Their mouths weren't falling open, but their eyes were wide with .....what was that? Desire. That's what that was. There was only one way to play this game. Stupidly, that's how. Feign ignorance and see what the ogres do.
"Oh, you guys hate it." I whined. "I knew it was too much. Shit. Now what am I going to wear?" I turned around to show them the ass, hiding my smile.
"You don't even like this?" I pointed to my bum in mock anger.
"I thought this was the best part of the whole thing. It's like a walking billboard for lesbians everywhere. Well, if this doesn't work. I don't know what will. Maybe I should just put on a bikini like Mandela." I snorted, walking to my closet.
Big hands grabbed me around the waist. Dru laughed in my ear, pulling me to the end of the bed to Devan, who grabbed me from Dru and placed me in her lap like I belonged there. And I felt like I did. Dru kissed me briefly and then did the same to Devan. It made me so happy to see that, I kissed Devan and then Dru. Might sound strange to anyone else, but that was the first moment of my life when I felt truly myself. Might be the weed, but damn if I wasn't the happiest girl in the world.
"Love the costume, Ru. Hate that everyone's going to be looking at my girls. Neither of you is changing until everyone down there is jealous of me. Ready to make a grand entrance?" Dru proclaimed, holding her elbows out.
Devan and I jumped off the bed and took her arms, walking out of the slider and down the stairs to the party in the backyard. We made it to the bottom just in time for Mandela and Number 9 to be walking past us. Mandy paused to stare at me in my awful outfit that screamed, slut. Literally and figuratively.
"Looking good, Finn."
"Yeah, you can't call me that." I told her snidely. "What are you even doing here?"
She looked confused for a second. "You called me and said I should come. You said Miranda had a change of heart and said you could invite anyone you wanted. I thought it meant we were cool. I was hoping you were offering an olive branch." Mandy looked downright lost.
"Are you sure it was her that called?" Lou asked, she was wearing a short black dress with sequins and looked beautiful and neither sluty or Studley which was fine. She was pregnant after all.
"I-I don't know. Did you call me?" She asked Lou, who shrugged.
"Kind of sounds like no one called. Kind of sounds made up." Dru said with a nod of her chin.
"What about you, Devan? Did you call this hussy?" I asked Devan.
"I don't call career wreckers. I beat them when the cameras are off."
"Same. Hey, speaking of, you'd be the second girlfriend of mine this bitch tried to hurt. I wonder what I should do about that?" Dru ran a hand over her face looking like she was about to explode.
"Wait, no. That was an accident. I paid my 300k in fines. I even paid her medical bills." Mandy yelled.
Number 9 smiled at me. "Hi, babes. Looks like you and I make a pretty good team."
I blushed. "Thanks, Shayla." Number 9, Shayla, was the co-captain and helped this all happen by convincing Mandy to come. And now Mandy could feel the wheels turning and set her glare on me.
"You little fucking--"
"What the fuck? What is she doing here? Oh, Tommy, hand me my purse please." Miranda's shriek got all of our attention and soon she was all anyone could look at.
Devan and Mandy both were in for a real treat. I was so excited I jumped on Dru's back, something apparently I did while happy and set in for the show with Devan on one side of us and Ellie and Cindy and Lou on the other.
And what a show it was too.
