chapter 2 - Soulmates?.

Tony's pov

I watched as a younger girl approached us. Everyones arm began to glow, we all felt a small tingle in our body. We all glanced at eachother. "Could it be?" I mumbled. She then fell to her knees and began crying in pain. "Shit!" I screamed. I can't even imagine the pain she's in. "I'll grab her everyone else back the fuck away." I yelled. She then passed out on the ground. I ran over to her and picked her up bridal style. "Clint take her back to the jet, we will finish up here." I told him while passing over the young girl.

Clints pov

I cant belive it. We found her! Our soulmate. I carried her bridal style and brushed her hair out of her face. Her skin was soft. She looked... broken.. I cant imagine what she had to go through.. I layed her on the bed and watched as her eyes flickered open. "Hello there!" She instantly got up and ran to the corner. "Woah! Slow down. I'm not gonna hurt you." I said while slowly approaching her. One line of hers glew. Her face instantly calmed.

"Your my soulmate!" She yelled. I laughed and nodded. She instantly got up and snuggled her face into my chest. "Woah! It's nice to meet you too." I smiled. "I-im sorry, I've just waited so long to m-meet you!" She said smiling.  "I've waited awhile to meet you too." I said while embracing her hug. The tingle instantly went away and a smile appeared on my face as I saw she accepted me.

She broke the hug and asked. "So.. whats your name?"

Y/ns pov

I was so happy to finally meet them!  I realized I mightve been taking things to quickly so instantly I backed up and said "whats your name?"  He smiled "clint Barton at your service." I giggled. "Okay, well Mr Barton nice to meet you! I'm y/n." He laughed, his voice was soft and kind. "No need to call me mr, it makes me feel old." He said while adding a small pout.

I giggled and smiled.

Don't get to attached all your gonna do is ruin their lives. You should leave while you can.

That small voice ran through my head every day. Either helping me or bringing me down. I quickly stopped laughing and my smile turned into a frown. "Oh! Are you okay?" He asked  while tucking away strains of my hair.
"I-im fine" I said while giving a small fake smile. His face lit with concern and I heard small voices coming from his earpiece "i-is everything okay?." I asked concerned. "Shit. I'll be there soon. Someone else look over the girl." He said into the earpiece.

"Y/n someone else will be in here soon. For now just stay here." He said while placing a soft kiss on my forehead. I blushed and sat down impatiently waiting for my next soulmate.. I began to tap my foot repeatedly on the ground.

Is everything okay? Did I do this. Oh no are they mad?

Many thoughts rushed into my head and I curled up placing my head on my knees. My breathing became much heavier and I felt like I was in danger. I looked around repeatedly while keeping my knees close to my chest.

I saw the door open hurriedly.  I backed away in fear and hid away in the corner. I watched as a female walked in, I instantly noticed her green eyes and red hair. My shoulder began to burn. "Soulmate?" She asked with her thick sokovian accent. She looked around carefully and stopped when she noticed me hiding in the far back corner. "Hello dear. I'm wanda, Wanda Maximoff." She said while crouching down a bit.

"I-im y/n." I responded nervously. She was quick to accept my mark. "Nice to meet you y/n." She said while giving me a huge smile.

"I-is everything okay?.. did I cause something?..." I asked worriedly. "No no not at all dear! Its just hydra is-" she started "Hydra? What's hydra." Her eyes instantly widened "Uh- you know what we should play two truths and one lie to get and know eachother!" She said instantly trying to change the subject. "Oh.. okay, but first. Whats two truths one lie?" I asked genuinely confused.

She was silent at first but quickly changed to a concerned look. "You don't know what two truths and one lie?!" She yelled causing me to flinch slightly. "I-im sorry." I mumbled quietly. "Oh hunny. I didn't mean it like that," she says softly while combing my hair with her fingers.
I stayed silent and just leaned my head against her chest. "So.. what about that game of, two lies one truth?" I asked trying to lighten the mood.  She giggled a bit and said "its two truths one lie," I looked down in embarrassment. Trying to lighten the mood and get away from the embarrassing moment I accepted her mark, she smiled and hugged me tightly "thank you y/n!" She exclaimed.  I giggled "you gonna tell me how to play or no?" I asked playfully.

She giggled "Well two truths one lie is basically Where you say two things that is true about you or your life, then you say one lie and the other player tries to guess the lie!" She explained.  I then nodded in understanding. "Want me to go first?" She asked, I nodded. "Well.. one, I have a brother two I hated one of my soulmates when I first met him and three im a capricorn!"

[Fun fact- wanda maximoff is actually a Pisces! - I mightve gave it away 😀]

"Is two the lie?" I asked. She smiled in victory "nope! Three is!" I looked down. "So.. its okay to hate your soulmate?" I asked. Her eyes widened again "well, that is what the reject options for." She replied. "Reject?" I mean I knew a bit about soulmarks but whats a reject? "Oh, its when you meet someone you don't like you can press reject and they won't be your soulmate anymore." I heard a tint of worry in her voice.

Your other soulmates are all gonna reject you. Ha! I bet wandas regretting not rejecting you. I mean who would want a pathetic kid like you anyways?

I hurriedly shook off the voice and was about to say something but then I heard the door open. Its the rest of my soulmates..

Anyways I'm still debating on adding smut or not- what do you think should I add it or no?
