Date:September 5,1941
Location:A checkpoint Outside of Carcassonne.
Time:11:15 P.M
In a checkpoint outside of the city of Carcasson a group of german and Milice troop guarding they have been warned about the event that happen 5 days ago and are order to capture or shoot the high value individual that escape from they hands because of the Shadow Reapers
Milice:Another quite night with nothing is happening.
German Soldier:Stay focus...Something can happen any time.
Milice:What make you say that?It has been a while since the last attack from the Shadow Reapers.
Then the soldier see a german truck coming the Milice went forward and signaled the truck to stop next to him
Milice:Papers.
The driver give his papers in the shadows then two germans soldier decide to check the back of the truck they reach the back only to see men with weird green goggles they are pulled inside they try to scream but it was muffled
Milice:So what are you carrying at this time of the night?
Driver:Nothing just going to the depot.
Milice start to realize there are not truck depot around he slowly look to him while his hand is going to his pistol
Milice:There is not Truck depot in this region.Who are you!
Milice was about to pull his walter P38 only to been killed by a shot in the head then Fireteam 145 with their night goggles on
Jules:Take them down!
Jules and the other fired at the rest of the soldiers in the checkpoint and in the guard house
Léo:RAS!
Samuel:The checkpoint and the guard house are clear.
Jules:Good...hide the bodies and open the main gate.
Ari pull up the main gate and told Courcel to move the truck on the other side while the rest of the team hide the bodies in a ditch on the side of the road
Karim:Done.
Jules:All right people let hustle.
Jules and the other climbed back on the truck and Courcel start to drive when inside they are meet with suprise looks from Churchill,De Gaulle,Adrian and Diana
De Gaulle:What are those wierd goggles?
Karim:This are GPNVG-18 white phosphor night vision goggles.This thing allow us to see in the night.
Adrian:Can we try it?
Léo:Sure.
Jules,Samuel,Léo and Ari remove their helemt and give it to them once the helemet it attached they pull down the GPNVG-18 and they were very suprised
Adrian:That is amazing.
They look at Jules and the others and start to have some question
De Gaulle:Why are you all glowing when i put it on?
Samuel:It's the thermal overlay.
Adrian:Thermal?
Ari:Thermal can allow you to see someone by the heat of their body.The body always emit heat and it is hard to counter it.
Jules:The first night vision goggles had a green light but the new one in our time are white with 4 tube.
De Gaulle:Why four tubes for only 2 eyes?
Samuel:It is much better when you clearing a room of house if it was a one tube or two you won't be able to see the enemy in the corner unless you turn your head.
