xiv.

Day 1
"Hey! How about we head to the new restaurant for dinner? " Ash asked happily. "Yeah sure sounds good to me," my mom replied.

We hoped in the car and headed to the new restaurant. As Ashton was driving, I looked out the window car, the city grandma was living in was wonderful.

We reached the restaurant within 10 minutes. It was called 'Spice'. As we entered the restaurant, the cold breeze rushed through my hair. We sat down at a table of 4 and we ordered. I ate spaghetti just to fill my stomach because I had no appetite.

During dinner, we bonded a lot with my grandmother and Ashton. Laughter and joy filled the air. It turned out to be a calm day.

Day 2
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping from outside. My door opened, "Morning dear, I've made breakfast and later on we're going to Bay Beach," then she closed the door. I stretched and yawn. Realizing it was a good sleep last night.

I showered and got ready. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of orange juice. The breakfast meal was already set on the table. I sat on the chair and began to eat.

While I was eating, Calum crossed my mind. I wonder what and how he's doing.

"Honey, you done? We're all waiting," my mum approached me. "Wha- everyone was awake before me?" I questioned my mom. "Haha yes dear it's 3 in the afternoon," "Where's nanny?" I asked like I was still a little girl. "She's getting ready," my mother replied.

Without hesitation, I picked up my plate, wash the dish and got ready. I wore a bikini bra but then shorts for the bottom beside I didn't feel like wearing a full bikini.

As I was getting ready, I could hear the car engine start and saw shadows of Ashton and the rest from outside so I quickened. I put all my necessary belongings into the brown sling bag Calum bought me the other day. I missed him so much even though the amount of days I lived with him last week that some space would be good for us.

I went out and locked the door behind me. "Let's go!" I sounded excited just to get the happy vibes for today.

As everyone was in the car, we headed to the beach asap. The weather was hotter than
in back home.

Within 10 minutes, we reached the Bay Beach. As I stepped out of the car,I put my shades on and I could feel the heat attacking me. The beach wasn't that packed surprisingly.

We headed to the beach and it was scorching hot. I could swear that I could be the most clingy girlfriend anyone could have because every part of the holiday reminds me of Calum.

"Hey mom i'll go in alright," I told my mum. I took off my loose singlet and went in the shore. As the shore rush through my feet, my mind flashed back to the moment when Calum and I spent time at the beach. I walked around in the shore for awhile and enjoyed the sunset by myself.

"Heeeyyyy," a voice appeared from behind me and I felt splashes on calf. I turned around and realized it was Ashton, revealing half his body. I sheepishly smiled and folded my arms. "Hey," I replied. Ashton's arm flung and landed around me. "Look how much we've grown Y/N," our eyes were fixed on the beautiful sunset. What he said reminded me of when we were young and we loved to build sandcastles together.

I turned to him and smiled, "Yeah," "Hey you seem so mood less, let's build sandcastles!" Ashton chirped. I giggled, "Yes that'd be fun"
"Race you. Loser gets to be pushed into the water," Ashton smirked and he knew how much I hate losing to him. To anyone probably.

I didn't hesitate and ran as fast as I could, off from the shore. Within split seconds, Ashton reached first. "Damnit!" We laughed as I rolled on the sand.

"It's okay, i'm kind" Ashton smiled as he grabbed my arm and pulled me up.

"Guys! It's almost evening, time for dinner!" My mom shouted and waved to us from where they were. Ashton and I walked back and got change.

It was a wonderful day today, especially reuniting with Ashton. It kept my mind off Calum for awhile but it was good that it didn't make me too stressed out.

Day 3
A soft cool breeze blowed. I can hear the soft rustle of leaves. The air is heavy with the scent of shrubs and grasses coupled with the scent of ripe fruits.

I lied on my back with my hand clasped behind my head and watched streaks of sunlight filtering through the canopy of leaves. Soon I fall into short but deep slumber.

When I woke up, I can see the sun slowly descending behind a row of far hills. Although I would love to linger for a little longer, I moved away reluctantly and leaved knowing that Calum would be waiting for me.

I went to the inner area, a few meters from my grandmother's house to get some fresh air by myself. I couldn't wait it get back into his arms and feel his heartbeat.

Your stay cation was great, missing Calum was a problem but in no time you will be in his arms again. -s.h
