It's finally Christmas Eve and everything was ready from the sleigh, to the toys, to even Santa himself. Just before takeoff, Comet thought it'd be nice to give Santa a little card in case he falls off a roof on his first night as the jolly man in red. Santa appreciated, giving Comet a nice scratch behind the ear before hopping onto his sleigh. Charlie joined his father and Merry was about to join when Bernard stopped her, "If your Dad gets into any trouble, let us know, okay?" he asked
"Don't worry, Bernard, I'm sure my Dad will be okay" said Merry, "He's got me and Charlie, what could possibly go wrong?"
"You'd be surprised, Sugarplum"
Merry smiled and pecks the head elf's cheek before hopping on the sleigh. Bernard touched his cheek where the teen kissed him, watching her smile as she joined Charlie and her father for takeoff. "Take it away, kids!" said Santa
"You ready, Charlie?" asked Merry
"Sure am, Merry!" said Charlie
"Now Dasher, now Dancer! Now, Prancer, now Vixen!"
"On Comet, on Cupid! On, Donner, on Blitzen!"

As the sleigh rises into the sky, Santa and his kids wave to the elves goodbye before riding off into the night, delivering presents to children around the world. Meanwhile, Neil and Laura were sitting at home, worried about Merry and Charlie's whereabouts since Thanksgiving. They had no choice but to get the police involved in their 'kidnapping', which they think Scott was up to. As the sleigh flies in the night sky, Charlie decided to give Santa a few tips on the sleigh's upgrades. "I gotta show you this!" he said, "Radar-jamming jingle bells, snow screen, DC-10 alert and air freshener"
"Wow" said Santa, very impressed by Charlie's work
"And most important of all, your hat" said Merry, "It's lined with a two-way radio"
"That was my idea!" said Charlie
"Yep! The microphone's in the end of your hat. It connects you directly to Judy and Bernard"
Santa smiled before glancing down at something Charlie missed, "What's this?" he asked
"Oh, that's a CD" said Charlie
"Compact Disc"
"No. Cookie/cocoa dispenser. The cocoa comes out nice and hot. And out pops a cookie"
Santa smiled at his kids warmly, "How could I do this without ya, kids"
"You couldn't" said Merry.

Throughout the night, everything went smoothly, with presents being delivered on time and even making sure the children are all snuggled in their beds. By the time they got to the Millers, things escalated real quick. When Santa placed the presents beneath the tree, the police popped up out of nowhere, arresting the man in red. The neighborhood kids were shocked to see Santa get arrested on the night of Christmas Eve. Charlie and Merry were starting to worry as they carefully climbed off the sleigh to investigate from the rooftop. "The police got Dad" said Charlie
"I bet Mom and Neil were behind all this" said Merry, "They probably thought Dad kidnapped us or something"
"Knew I should've left a note"
"Wait here, I'm gonna call Judy and Bernard from the sleigh"
Merry carefully makes her way to the sleigh, contacting the North Pole as quickly as possibly, hoping someone would answer.

Meanwhile at the North Pole, the elves were taking a short break from making toys until Santa returned. Bernard was the first to hear the sound of a telephone ringing jingle bell rock and quickly answered the call. "Bernard, it's Merry, something's happened to Santa" said Merry over the line, "We're at the Millers, but he's not responding"
"The police got our Dad" said Charlie over the phone, somehow appearing next to his sister
"Stay there, I'll send back up" said Bernard, hanging up the phone before ringing the bell to summon a team known as the E.L.F.S (Effective Liberating Flight Squad) in action. While Charlie and Merry waited on the roof, a team of flying elves appeared from the night sky, landing safely before them.
"Charlie and Merry" asked the E.L.F.S. Leader
"Yeah?" asked Charlie
"Don't worry, we're the good guys. Come on, let's go save Santa"
"We can't" said Merry, "They're cops watching the place"
"Yeah they're probably are. But you see, we weren't figuring on walking out the front door. We find that we can get around a lot faster if we fly"
"Fly?" asked Charlie and Merry.

The E.L.F.S Leader offers his hand to Charlie while two elves offer their hands to Merry since she's taller than the rest. Before they took off, the leader says this to the siblings, "Don't ever try this without elf supervision"
With that, the elves take off with Charlie and Merry flying in the night sky. Joy and laughter filled the air as they make their way to the police station to save Santa, shocking a police officer on duty outside the Miller's house. "Merry Christmas!" said Merry, waving at the shocked policeman, who waved back slowly at the elves. Once they arrived at the station, the elves, Charlie, and Merry arrive at the front desk where a police officer was casually eating a holiday donut while reading a cheesy romance novel. The man looks over to see the elves, thinking they were kids since they appear to be Charlie's age.
"Good evening, officer" said Merry
"We're here to see Santa Claus" said the E.L.F.S. leader
"Go home, kids" said the police officer, "Visiting hours are over"
"We're not kids, and we're not visiting"
"We're here to bust out our dad" said Charlie.

The police officer recognized the two siblings as the Calvin kids, quickly grabbing the files while Charlie and Merry did their small secret handshake. The man looked confused by the other elves, wondering who they are since they weren't on the missing kids lists
"We're your worst nightmare" said the leader, "Elves with attitude"
"Tie him up, guys!" said Merry as the E.L.F.S team started tying the police man up in ribbons and string to the chair. Once complete, Merry was able to snatch the keys while Charlie stuffed the rest of the donut into the man's mouth. Santa was rather happy to see his kids were okay, but seeing how Merry struggled to figure out the keys, the E.L.F.S. Leader saved her the trouble by using a tinsel to open the prison bars. "How'd you do that?" asked Merry
"Tinsel" said the leader, "Not just for decoration or a hair accessory"
The three shrugged before leaving the station and back to the Millers, hoping they could get away with the rest of the night without causing more trouble.
