Cal stood absolutely still, she scanned the hallways around her, aware this was again a dream. The hallways were odd, not different enough that you would recognize it but just so much as to give you that annoying, nagging feeling of not right. Cal closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes she nearly jumped out of her skin. Standing right in front of her was a man. He was taller than her by over a foot and a half, he had wavy light brown hair, a tan complexion... it looked like he had just spent the day at the beach. She gasped "you have my eyes."
"I think that is the other way around," he snickered. He took a second to make sure she was paying attention, when he smiled Cal saw Brick in him. "Garran..." she frowned making him laugh. "Garran Cosanta" Cal's eyes focused, he winked realizing she was ready for the message "Look again..." The dream ended and Cal's eye popped open.
Cal had forgotten about Recke moving in for a moment until he moaned beside her. With a smile she rolled over, right into the arms of Recke. He smiled and cuddled into her neck, kissing it gently. "Is it weird that my parents are in the other room?" Cal giggled as he traced his kisses up her neck to her jawline.
"I'd think it's weirder that we have slept in the same bed and actually still haven't gone any further than kissing." Recke kissed her passionately then pulled back, "If you knew my history with relationships, you'd know how absolutely unusual that really is."
"True, but those relationships ended." Cal kissed him back, just as deep but gentler, she could tell it made his toes curl. He shivered as she pulled back. "I don't want ours to, so I'd prefer that it is different than those." She smiled and nuzzled into him, enjoying his distraction.
He pulled back and sat beside her on the bed, enjoying the view of her in her nightgown. "I have a busy day, I have two classes... one should be finishing today, the other I am having trouble pairing up."
"Ever wondered if they don't pair up because the other half is in the other class?" Cal was noticing all Recke's things around the room, and where he put them. She was amazed at how many plants he had but impressed at where he put them.
"I hadn't until now." He groaned "That means..." he leaned over and ran his hand up her side to her chest, letting himself have a feel while he kissed her. "That means that I need to go, now." he climbed out of bed and got dressed. "I will see you at lunch, here...okay."
"Then we can talk about this dream," He paused at the door and looked at her. "I think I saw Zen. He really wanted me to remember something" She sat up and took a breath "He said Garran Cosanta and look again."
"The mine, he means the mine," Recke was now deep in thought. "Garran what..." he shook his head.
"But which mine" Cal got out of bed and pulled off her nightgown, aware that she only had her panties on underneath. She turned to her right to see Recke smiling and spinning her bra around with his left hand. "He could mean the doorway mine, as in not him and Irene in it." she slipped on her jeans and walked over to retrieve her bra. He looked at her with a sly smile, "hand it over please," She bounced up and down making him drop the bra. "Thank you." she turned around to put it on.
"How do you figure that," Recke walked over to the closet and grabbed a shirt for her. "We have their bodies." He draped it over her shoulder and helped her fasten her bra.
"Who verified that it was them, could they have made an error?"
"The bishop council..." Recke's eyes widened "That you have been having dreams about." His face suddenly grew serious "Now we have to look at both again, and we need to verify the identity of the two bodies."
