Chapter 5.5 - The path of demon slayer

Back to Tanjirou's side

After Tanjirou and Nezuko had set off to their journey. They faced with many things whether it was people or demons. Now they are in Mr.Urokodaki's care. Tanjirou had learnt many things from Mr.Urokodaki, on the other hand Nezuko was still sleeping. Everytime when Tanjirou finished his training, he always looked at Nezuko and hoped that she would wake up someday soon.

Also he missed his family before he looked at the watch and the cap which were on the desk. He missed Boboiboy even though is was a short time but he was happy to have a good friend who was as kind as him. He wanted to spend more time with Boboiboy but it never happened

"Mom, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta and Boboiboy, please sleep well. I must turn my sister back to human no matter how hard it is." Tanjirou often said that.

2 Years Later

Tanjirou had completed all of his training for the final selection with a help from Sabito and Makomo, the children who died during the final selection many years ago. With their helping, Tanjirou managed to sliced the boulder to 2 pieces. Now he is ready for the final selection, the final step before he could join the Demon Slayer Corp.

Final Selection

When the day has come, Tanjirou went to Mount Fujikasane to join the final selection with the others people who had trained to become demon slayers too. The thing that they have to do is survived for 7 days on this mountain. During selection, Tanjirou kept asking demons for a way to turn demon back to human but he didn't get any information. 7 days had passed, Tanjirou made it to the end and there were only 5 people who passed the selection (1 had already gone downhill). The others were choosing iron ores for forging into their own sword.

     After that, everyone received their demon slayer's uniform and returned home. When Tanjirou arrived at Urokodaki's house, Nezuko kicked the door and went out to welcome Tanjirou by hugging him and Urokodaki joined them too.

     After Tanjirou cleaned himself up and was about to go to sleep, Boboiboy's watch on the desk started shaking and that made Tanjirou noticed it and picked it up. There was a text message on the watch's face.

"Congratulation Tanjirou-kun."

When Tanjirou saw it, he was stunned for a second before he could question himself how did it happen??? Then that message had gone from the watch. Tanjirou thought that Boboiboy's soul was in the watch at first but he didn't mind it at all. He just felt like Boboiboy is still with him even his body wasn't here anymore. That made Tanjirou smiled and said.

"Thanks you, Boboiboy-kun." after Tanjirou said that he wore a watch with him again.

15 Days Later

Finally, Tanjirou's Nichirin sword has arrived. This sword was forged by a swordsmith name Haganezuka. After Tanjirou received the sword, Haganezuka told to draw the sword out to see what color would Tanjirou get because Nichirin sword is also known as the color-changing-sword. When Tanjirou was about to draw his sword, the watch that he was wearing started glowing. After Tanjirou drew the sword out it started changing its color but it's not normal.
