"Aadhya I wanted to know what exactly triggered for you to have panic attack " Murari didn't waste a second and questioned.
Aadhya saw how 4pairs of eyes filled with curiosity glancing at her. She felt this is the time to let them know.
" Rocky... " Aadhya cleared her throat and spoke but was cut in between by Abhi
' by Rocky you mean that puppy we saw in the park' Abhi received a nod from his sister
" When we use to meet during weekends while being in custody, we went to a park nearby and there we saw a puppy and named it as Rocky. " Aadhya started to elobrate the scene.
" As the park is near to my mom's house I use to feed him, so it got habituated and followed behind me to my house. " She continued
" As mom didn't allowed me to have any pets, in fact even she don't want me to be in that house how could she allow a puppy" Aadhya said with a sad smile, for which Murari gently squeezed her hand.
" I use to hide some of my food and feed him with her knowledge and oneday she saw me feeding it and scolded me, still I didn't cared her" Aadhya said with a proud expression
' typical you' Ram commented and received a eyeroll from her.
"oneday I got ready to meet abhi, mom got home from somewhere and was fuming with anger, I slowly went towards her to tell that I'm leaving" Aadhya said keeping eyes stick to her hands which are placed on her lap.
Aadhya started to think of the day where her mother got so anger on her.
Flashback:
'You're not going anywhere' Renu shouted on Aadhya
" But today I'm meeting Abhi" 13 years old Aadhya stated and walked outside the Hall.
' can't you understand you're not going anywhere' Renu holded Aadhya's arm tightly and pulled her inside the house
" It hurts" Aadhya felt pain at the site of her mother's hold and trued to free herself but compared to her strength her mother's is lot more stronger.
' come inside it's all because of you both I could not get those shares' Renu pushed Aadhya into a room and locked her up.
" Please...open the doo..r mom it's so dark inside.. " Aadhya sobed while knocking the door
' keep quite ha this dirty dog' Renu shouted with disgrace
" Rocky.. " Aadhya had heard the barking of puppy, she know what her mom gonna do.
' how many times should I tell you not to bring this dirty thing into the house' Her mother said loudly and Aadhya can hear the whining of the puppy with pain.
" Mom please leave him, I won't bring him inside" Aadhya begged her still she can hear her mother taking all the anger on that poor creature.
" Mom I won't meet Abhi too please let it go... Please.... Mom... Rocky go away" Aadhya continued to knock while crying
' both of you shutup' By saying this Renu kicked the puppy hardly as the puppy went and hit himself with the wall.
Renu opened the door and walked away from there......

Aadhya was covered with sweat and her hands automatically clutch into Murari's
" By the time I saw Rocky was lying in blood and I don't know what should I do" Aadhya said while a single tear dropped from her eye.
" I could not save him, if I didn't feed him and pampered him.. It would be living his life happily rather dying in pain" Atlast she broke into tears hiding her face in her hands.
' sis' abhi hugged her and patted her back.
' you said it ran away' Abhi question made her see him.
" How should I tell you that Rocky was dead and it's all because of me" Aadhya re questioned him.
" It's not your fault. If someone who should be blamed is your mother Aadhya" Murari spoke.
" She should feel regret not you, so never think it's your fault understand " He said while wiping her tears.
' yes sis, you have not done anything wrong' Abhi added on Murari's words.
Aadhya nodded her face as she don't want to argue with them, deep inside she know that she is not at fault but still her heart reminded her about Rocky when ever she saw a familiar one. This is the reason for her disapproval of raising dogs.

After 2 days of the incident Aadhya sat on the reclaner chair in the backyard where Abhi and Nihal were playing in the swimming pool.
" Hey guys be careful " Aadhya said in a loud voice which obviously went a deaf ear for the boys who are busy splashing the water on their faces.
Suddenly Aadhya felt something beside her, seeing a medium sized Australian Shepherd, she shouted in fear and got up.
Her loud scream got the boys attention and both came out of the water and went towards her.
" Abhi get that away" Aadhya hid behind Abhi and said with a trembling voice.
" Milou" There comes the voice which is quite familiar.
' Milou... ' Nihal kneeled and patted the dog's head, but it just ignored him.
Murari came running and holded the leash.
" I told you to behave right why you just ran" Murari said gently to the dog which sat and observing the surroundings.
' ah BIL it is so cute can I touch it' Abhi said while moving towards the dog after receiving the response from Murari.
" Murari why did you bring it? Please take him away" Aadhya stood 20 feet away and said.
" Aadhya do you hate dogs? " Murari questioned and received a negative nod from her.
" He is a part of my family, he is my baby" Murari said while rubbing the dog stomach
" Okay but why did you bring now? " Aadhya questioned.
" I don't want you to be uncomfortable with him just because of your bad experience with a puppy" Murari answered
As he didn't receive anything from her he continued.
" In future when we move together into my apartment you have to live with him"
" What? " Aadhya said in confusion
" What what, he is with me all these 5 years so I won't leave him for you and vice versa " Murari stated
" We still have time for that so now please leave it take him" Saying this Aadhya walked into the house, followed by all the 4 boys ( even milou is a boy)
' BIL I think it's better to give her sometime, recently only she went through alot' Abhi showed his concern.
" If not today then we cannot bring her from that, just trust me and leave it to me, she will just love milou" Murari reasured.
" Are you ready buddy" He ruffled the dog's hair to which milou shouted as his respond.
' you people are so noisy' Ram came from his room complaining and saw Aadhya far from the rest standing at the kitchen.
He saw Abhi, nihal and murari along with a dog with confusion
" Hi Ram meet my baby Milou" Murari introduced the new one.
Ram smiled and went towards the dog to pet him.
"Even I wanted to pet him but my anxiety is about to kick in, when murari told about living with him along with the dog I was worried because of my past memories" As I was in my thoughts Murari's voice brought me into reality
" Aadhya just trust me, you're so strong so you can cross this too" Murari gestured her to come closer.
Hesitantly she took few steps towards them.
Murari along with milou sat on the floor while the two boys went to change their wet clothes and Ram sat on the sofa.
Aadhya went closer to Murari still in fear and kneeled.
Murari took her hand and brought near milou's head and asked her to pet him.
Aadhya pleased her with eyes still thought to give a try.
She slowly poked milou on back to see his reaction holding murari sleeve tightly, when milou didn't react she took courage and petted on his head.
" It's so soft" She smiled brightly and said.
" Do you want to go closer to him? " Murari asked and got a nod from aadhya.
Aadhya properly sat on floor in Indian style and Murari placed milou into her lap.
Aadhya started to rub on his head while Milou loved her and leaned into her touch.
" He loves you" Murari commented to which Aadhya smiled..... ( to be continued).....
