ungrateful daughter

it's been almost 8 months since abhi went to Paris, in this period aadhya visited him whenever she got time, importantly Murari had become someone special to her. They text or call from time to time. At first they only stuck to professional matters but later it changed into personal talks.

Both aadhya and murari felt comfortable being around so they shared day to day activities. Aadhya was happy to keep Abhi away from all the hurdles, but deep inside her heart she still felt afraid of losing abhi.

" Why is he calling me out of the blue?" Aadhya thought seeing the caller id.
she just ignored it and continued her work but once again her phone rang, she know that until the call is accepted the person dont stop calling her.
she closed the file took a deep breath and accepted the call.

"Hello" Aadhya said
'Hello my dear i hope you remembered me?' the opposite person said.
" How could i forget somebody who made mine and abhi's life like living hell" Aadhya replied with a bit of hatend in her voice.
'So rude, i thought you changed, but you're as naive as in past' the person said grinned
" Now what do you want?" Aadhya said directly coming to the point.
She very well knows the person on the phone doesn't call her simply to ask her whether she remembered him or not. He is a wicked person.
'Can't a father call his daughter ?' Prabhu her father said.
"Father, how can you call yourself a father?" She replied with a chuckle and continued.
"Just tell me what is the reason behind your call. I don't have all day to have casual talks with you. to be frank i will utilize this time to call Abhi." Aadhya said calmly.
' Can't you see how i and your mom loved you, cared you until that brat was born? in fact you should be angry at him more than us.' her father said with a tint of concern in his voice.
" Don't dare to call him such names. He is more important to me, I have only seen the hate you both showed on him" Aadhya said with a loud voice.
' Fine if you want to be naive then be like that, i will come straight to the point' the man replied.
'I wanted you to sponsor Kavya in the international fashion event' the man said

Aadhya let out a small smile, she knows that her so-called father doesn't call her without his benefits.
" Why do you think I will do that?" Aadhya replied which brought distress to her father.
' You will support someone unworthy each year, this time support someone who is talented and Kavya is the best' her father said.
" if she is best you will not call me and ask me to support her, all the persons i supported till now are now in better position that means they are worthy" Aadhya took a small breath and continued

" I think you now know who is unworthy?" she said.
'You..' seeing her father's burst out she knows that he is irritated ofcourse who will not get angry if somebody calls his daughter unworthy.
'ungrateful girl, i regret calling you as my daughter' the person lashed out
" I feel the same, if this is what you wanted to talk then i said my opinion, like always i supported the worthy this time too i will sponsor them" Aadhya completed her words and disconnected the call.
Her father kept calling her so she put her phone on silent.

she was pissedoff after recalling her father's words. Everyone around her wanted to make her as a puppet in their stories which she hated the most.
" Great, now i lost interest in the project too" she just closed the file which was opened by her a few seconds ago.
she just felt suffocated being like this, so felt like taking a break and went to the rooftop.

Aadhya took a seat on the bench, closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, after a few minutes she felt her mobile vibrating.
"I don't want to talk to anyone" she said giving a sigh, she is not in a mood to talk right now, seeing her situation she would lash out on the other person, but her eyes got soften seeing the caller Id.....(to be continued)
