As they were shouting at each other Aadhya's father throwed a vase towards Abhi which made Aadhya's eyes wide
" No" Aadhya shouted and ran towards her brother.
Aadhya blocked the vase as she hug him.
The vase directly hit on her tender back made her scream but controlled it not to startle him she securely hugged Abhi while the vase fell on the floor making a clink sound.

But non of the parent bothered to see their children.
' what the hell is happening here? ' suddenly the door had opened Aadhya could here the steps and the voice making her turn around just to find her grandmother.

She hurry went to abhi and Aadhya who are crying and took them into her arms.
' what sort of parents are you?' saying this she took abhi in her arms and holded Aadhya's wrist and walked outside the house.
Aadhya can hear the noises from the house. Her grandmother took them to her house which is 10 steps away from her parents.

" Grandma why does they both are fighting and even called abhi unwanted?" Aadhya's words made both the grandparents in silence how could they say that her parents don't wanted abhi in their life, seeing the adorable 5years kid looking at them with frightened eyes made a sharp pain in their hearts

' they are just stressed. Are you hungry?' her grandmother changed the topic and went to kitchen to bring them milk.

As Aadhya was talking something with abhi her grandfather saw a stain on back of her school uniform.
' dear come here ' he called aadhya and check touched the place making Aadhya hiss in pain, her big eyes are now filled with tears.

"Grandpa it hurts" she said closing her eyes.
Seeing this her grandmother came and saw a deep cut on her back.
' it could be because of the vase which she took for Abhi ' her grandmother said which made her husband furious

' how can they do this?' he replied.
Aadhya's grandmother brought the first-aid kit and started disinfecting it making Aadhya made sure not to be loud so she just hissed. Seeing how considerate she is for her brother made both the grandparents happy also sad.

After cleaning and dressing Aadhya changed her clothes and drank milk,while abhi slept.
" Grandma I left my book with kartik so i will go and get it" Aadhya said and went out even her grandmother insisted not to go worried that she may open the wound.

She just lied to her grandmother to escape from the house after all the things happened today are like huge shock to her. She was confused about her parents behaviour, she was sorry for abhi and mostly now her back is hurting her.

She walked to her favourite place in the park which she accidentally came across while playing hide and seek with kartik and Emily, from that time she frequently visited this place.
She sat on the bench and started thinking about the event today but she brokedown remembering how her father throwed the vase towards Abhi.

She placed her head in between her knees and cried.
Don't know how much time she remained like that but came into reality as she felt a hand on her shoulder.
" Hey kiddo why you're sitting here? It's my place" Aadhya lifted her head sniffing and saw the person talking to her.
He was a boy maybe elder than her in his school uniform.

"Are you crying?" As soon as he saw her with tears running down her cheeks he sat beside her and wiped her tears.
Aadhya was seeing him without speaking anything.
To be honest she was just wondering about him being so kind.

" Did your parents scold you?" He questioned
She nodded her head as a yes and received a nod from him.
"Take this" he said forwarding a lavender resin locket chain to her.
" This is my favourite I'm giving you so it will make you happy when ever you feel sad" he said shoving it to her hand.
" Thank you brother" Aadhya spoke for the first time after checking the locket and smiled.

" Be a good girl and go home fastly, it's not safe for a girl to stay out too late" saying this he ruffled her hair and walked making aadhya smile..

Back to present

"Aadhya are you okay?" She felt  a hand on her shoulder and shaking her.
She felt tightness near her heart making it difficult to breathe she placed her hand near the chest.
" Aadhya get a grip open your eyes" she could hear the worry in the voice.
She felt pain as she is lacking oxygen but suddenly the person hugged her and gently caressing her hair.
" Aadhya abhi is safe, so now concentrate on my breathing and breathe" the person whispered in her eyes.

" Breathe in and breathe out" the person said.
She don't know but felt comfortable in the person's arms she did same as he told.

After about 10 minutes her breathing was back to normal. Aadhya opened her eyes which are filled with tears and saw the person who is hugging her and widened her eyes...(to be continued).........
