"Does he make you happy?" Jayden asks, plopping onto my vanity chair. I nod, "yeah, he does." He smiles, "I would tell you I'd beat his ass if he hurts you but..." Jayden trails.
He can't be serious.
"You're crazy."
"He's terrifying." Jayden exclaims, "I can't trust someone who looks like he's a mob boss from a Tv show."
"That's not true." I reason. Jayden has no reason to be afraid of Leonardo. He's hardly spoken to him besides a few pleasantries. "You're just saying that to disagree with me."
"Wrong." Jayden rolls his eyes. "So you guys together together?"
"Mhm,"
"What? For how long?"
"Like a few hours." I shrug. Definitely more than a few hours, but Jayden doesn't need to know that. He looks at me for a moment before asking, "seriously iz, how long?"
"He came by around seven. Asked me then." I say nodding to the vase full of flowers. "They're pretty." Jayden nods. They are. I didn't realize how many different kinds of roses you could get; especially in the amount Leonardo got.
"He coming back over tonight?" Jayden asks.
He would if I asked him to.
"I don't know." I shrug. "Why?"
"Just want to know what his intentions are." Jayden says calmly.
I'm definitely not letting that conversation happen.
