How do you know if you love someone?

What's the- do I have to love someone in a way I want to marry them, or can I love someone for simply being there for me; nothing romantic.

If I could love someone just because they've been there for me, I would would say I love Amelia.

She's been with me through everything; every problem I've ever faced. My problem today is my period. The thing that pushes blood out of your body for multiple days, once a month. I've been blessed with only 5 days however my cramps are a living hell.

I've maxed out on every pain med I have and heating pads just don't do it. Not to mention we're out of energy drinks and tampons so I have to leave the house to go get more.

I'm driving the struggle bus right now.

"You ready to go?" Amelia asks. Excuse you? "I was waiting on you. Don't get it twisted bitch" I say, grabbing my phone and the car keys before walking out the door.

"Your CVS obsession is almost as bad as your target obsession." Amelia states, dropping several bags onto my bed before walking out. "Oh well," I shrug rummaging through the bags, looking for one of the two things I actually went there for.

Tampons.

Why the fuck are they so expensive? Like I didn't subscribe to some bleed from your vagina and get painful as hell cramps for 5 days website. At least I don't think I did.

Tampons should be free.

End of story.

Imagine if you were allergic to your own blood.

That would suck.
