Grateful for my ex enemy

Rudy's POV: 

When I wake up the next morning, I lay in Julie's bed. With her. I don't open my eyes, bc it's so comfortable. I've my arms around her waist and my head in her neck, she have her head on my chest and sleeps like a baby. I try not to move that she will not wake up, so I just cuddle a little more with her. And I now I've a gf but we just cuddle, we always do that even tho when we have/ a gf or bf.

A little later. When you both are awake

Julie's POV: 

"Sorry maybank. Let's talk about our trip to your parents" I say and sit down next to him on the couch. "Okay, so we'll fly on December 24th and will stay there until December 27th. Elaine will be back on January 5th so, I wanted to ask if you also want to do a little trip on Silvester?" he asks. 

„Yeah, sure! Do Zoe have any ideas?" I ask him, I love the idea to do something with him! "Yeah, we could stay in Alaska, but go to a ski hotel?" he asks I already love the idea! I love skiing I'm not a pro, and it's been some year since I skied the last time so I need to lean some things again but I'm in!

"YES!" I say and hug him!

 I'm happy to have him as my best friend, it's something special with him. Something rare and unique I never felt before. He's something special, and everyone who knows him should appreciate it, to be with him is something that gives you energy and confidence. He's also just a human but he's an amazing human, and different one, and the first boy/man I trust, idk how he made that but he always makes me a better person, I'm not his but I'm his best friend and always there for him, I can't imagine a life without him, idk how I did before. And after everything that happened between us I'm happy to say that he saved me, with every part of his body, with every conversation and with every little smile he gives, I understand why people have fanpages for him, they don't know him, but if they, they could see the amazing Rudy, that I see.

After a million years of searching about a good hotel, who also have a place for us, some tickets for the airplane and (bc of me) that the hotel have gluten free food, we made it and have now a hotel. It's really pretty and also with some pools. And there are no kids!

 Anyway after we spent the whole morning with searching, it's already lunch time. We decided to go to a little restaurant down the street. 

"Okay, can we go to the restaurant? I'm really hungry!" Rudy asks, already going to the door. "Boy, are you okay? I need to change!" I say and run in my room. "Girls" I hear him saying. 

After 15 minutes I wear something pretty, not to much, bc it's just a lunch. 

"Are you finally ready west?" Rudy asks already standing at the door. "Always Pankow!" I say and walk to him. "Then let's go" he says and opens the door. I put my shoes on and we go to the restaurant. 

We go out of the lobby, and on the street, where it's pretty cold, but the sun shines. "So little, where will we go?" He asks me and puts his arm around my shoulder. "To the little restaurant, we was already there, it's the one with the little waterfall in an aquarium!" I say and put my arm around his lower back. "Oh this one! It's cool there" he says and smiles softly. "I know, that's why we'll go there ru" I say and walk a little faster with him. 

We are on the restaurant. "Come in lady" he says and opens me the door. "Shut up ru" I say and playfully hit his arm. "Au"   He says,  it I know it's a joke. 

We sit down on a little table near the window. Next to and old pair. Just some minutes later the waiter comes and asks "what do you wanna drink?" "For me just a coke" Rudy says. "And for me a water" I say and smile a little. "Okay, will come soon" he says and walks away again. And we start to search in the food card he gave us. 

"Do you know what you wanna eat Juls?" Rudy asks and flick through the pages. "Ahm, probably just a mixed salad with baked potatoes. What about you?" I ask and put my food card down and my hands too. To face him. " a steak with potatoes too" he answers and puts his card down too. 

"Are you okay?" He asks, he looks really worried. "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I ask confused. "Idk you shake a little bit, are you really okay?" He asks again and takes my hand. "Yeah, yeah sure, idk I think I'm scared that paparazzis will come. You know I hate those." I say and try to relax. 

"Hey, this will not happen, I'm not that popular as you're, but it's okay. Trust me Julie" he says and gives me a big smile. "Thank you ru, I'm grateful to have u" I say. "Always Bub" he says. 

"Hear are your drinks" the waiter says and gives us them. "Do you already know what you want to eat?" He asks "yes, I want a steak with steak potatoes" Rudy says. "And I want a salad with baked potatoes" I say and give him out cards. "okay" he says grabs them and goes away again. 

20 minutes later, the waiter comes and gives us our food. "Thank you" me and Rudy say. "You're welcome" he says gives us a smile and goes to the table next to us. 

We both start eating. "And does it taste?" I ask Rudy, and take another bite. "Yes! And yours?" He asks. "It's just salad so yeah" I say "true, so you want a bite from mine?" He asks. I would but I bet it have a lot of calories. "Ah no thank you" I say. "Come on Juls! I see it in your eyes it will not kill you and it's gluten free so it's okay" he says. Can this man read minds? 

"Okay, okay. I will take a bite" I say and he feeds me. "Thank you ru" I say and chuckle. 

"So young, and so in love, isn't that cute? Now long are you both together?" The old lady next to us asks. "Sorry ma'am but we're just friends" I say. "But you are in love right? I mean you have to be" she says, and smiles "he has a gf, so no" I say "so? Love knows no boundaries!" She says. "Haha, she's just my best friend" Rudy says and seems a little pissed. "Oh okay, bit you both seem cute" the lady says before she stand up and goes with her husband out. 

"Weird" Rudy mumbles, I tried to ignore it. "Anyway, should we pay?" I ask, as we're ready. "Yeah sure" he says and tries to show the waiter that we wanna pay. 

"We wanna pay" Rudy says soft. "Okay, cash or card?" He says "card please" I say and get my card. "No, I'll pay!" Rudy says and puts his card on the card device. 

"You didn't need to do that ru!" I say, while we walk out of the door. "It's okay" he says and puts his arm around my shoulder again. "But the next time I'll lay" I say "okay" he says and we walk back to my apartment.
