AirBerlin was founded 1978 in Germany with Hubs at Berlin-Tegel and Düsseldorf Airport. They ceased operation in 2017 due to bankruptcy. During those 39 Years the German Airline had many different Models and Planes. In 2017 AirBerlin had 132 Airplanes. Some of those 132 are still operating for other Airlines for example Sundair. In terms of passenger capacity the Airbus A330 is the biggest plane in the Fleet of AirBerlin in the Year 2017 while the smallest is the De Havilland DHC 8-400. The Callsign of the airline is AIR BERLIN.
