AirChina is an airline from Beijing, China. They were founded in 1988 from the collapse of CAAC. The Airline is based in Beijing with their home airport being the airport in Beijing. AirChina is part of the Star Alliance and their callsign is AIR CHINA. Their current fleet consists of 494 Planes with 182 orders. As of April 2024 they are one of the few airlines that still fly Boeing 747s in Passenger service. In terms of passenger capacity, their biggest plane is the Boeing 747-8, the smallest the Comac ARJ21-700.
