The Airline Helios Airways was founded in Cyprus in 1999, existed for 7 years and ceasing operation in 2006. Helios was based in Larnaca with it's Callsign being HELIOS. They have had one of the most mysterious Mysteries in Aviation HISTORY. Flight 522 from Helios Airways crashed near Athens after a rotary switch for the cabin pressure control was set to ''manual'' instead of the normal ''automatic''. Because of that, everybody on board became unconscious and the plane flew like the autopilot wanted it to. The Plane flew a few laps in a holding pattern because it should have landed in athens but by that time, nobody was conscious so the plane couldn't be landed. The kerosene was completely depleted, which ultimately caused the plane to crash.
