I came to the festival to see my little Amiko compete but my eye's were drawn to the winner of the first event. Toshinori told me what he thought and when i saw him with my own eye's i knew that this boy was my long lost son, I wanted to go and speak to him but what could i say ? Other than the fact that i gave birth to him i'm a complete stranger to him. I didn't know what to do, On one hand i gave him up but on the other he's still my baby and i feel a pain in my heart from knowing that someone else got to do all the things for him that should have been my job.
"Izuku" I quietly murmured as i sat in my seat and a few tears escaped my eye's. Toshinori was sitting by me and noticed my distress, He put his hand on mine and squeezed it gently as if to say that he feels my pain.
(Izuku pov)
I entered the arena and went to stand on my side of the area we were to battle in and i wil admit i felt a little concerned. This guy Kaminari was an electrical quirk user and electricity moves fast so i'm not sure i'll be able to dodge his quirk in time.
'Oh screw it i'll just do my best and hope that he's not very well trained' I thought as i watched Kaminari himself enter and walk to his side of the ring with a cocky smirk on his face. "Hey there General Studies kid, Don't feel too bad when you lose to me after all we're just playing on different levels". That pissed me off something fierce, This jackass was acting superior because he was in the Hero course.
I decided that i was going all out in this match and got ready to attack. I didn't respond to Kaminari, I only looked to Midnight for the signal for when to begin.
"It's time for the second battle !! On the left we have from the Hero course Denki Kaminari !!!!! And on the right we have from General Studies Izuku Nakiri !!!!!!" The crowd cheered loudly for Kaminari but not so loud for me except for Tenko, my little group of supporters from Kyouksei Dorm and my Sister of course.
My brain went into hyper mode the instant i saw Midnight open her mouth to speak, My body was emitting neon green lightning and i was just waiting for the teacher to finish speaking. I watched as she said "Begin" in slow motion and as i looked over the field i saw Kaminari very slowly blink and as soon as Midnight was finished i rushed Kaminari and punched him right across the jaw. A second later i went back to normal human speed and noticed that the crowd was silent as the grave.
Kaminari was lying on his back knocked out completely and even Midnight was standing there with her mouth wide open in shock.
"You're right we are on different levels but i'm higher than you"
I spoke coldly to his unconscious body "Ahem" I then cleared my throat and pretty soon Midnight was shaken out of her surprise and raised her whip. "The Winner is Izuku Nakiri !!!" The medical Robots that carried Aoyama off once again returned and loaded Kaminari on the stretcher to take him to Recovery Girl and i started to walk out of the Arena. The crowd then started to cheer but the loudest voices were from my friends and Sister.
After i was out of the Arena and through the tunnel i started to walk back to where my class was based in the stands when i found myself face to face with a woman with dark green hair much like the girl and i will admit she also seemed slightly familiar but not on the level as the girl.
