Hand in hand, me and Alexandra made our way down the warm, city streets of Bahrain. It was the day after my loss at the Grand Prix.

My hatred for Natasha had grown in the last twenty four hours.

In some way, I craved to make her jealous, or somewhat pissed off. That's why me and Alex made our relationship public, after keeping it behind closed doors since Abu Dhabi.

"This place looks good for a place to eat." Alex suggested, while pointing over to a French styled Café.

In agreement, we walked over to the entrance to be seated. It was nice, quiet and almost felt like we were back in Monaco.

As we were sat down at a table by the window, we had a look at the small traditional menu.

"Excuse me, may I take your order?" The waitress requested, stood well presented before us.

"Can I get two cappuccinos, and a plate of mixed pastries please?" Alexandra ordered for the both of us.

"Of course, is that all for you today?" The waitress asked, taking away our menu's.

"Yes, thank you." I smiled.

The chilled classical music in the background, slowly drowned out, as me and Alex exchanged in long, loving conversations.

"You did great yesterday, it was just lack of luck. You know that right?" Alex spoke to me, while caressing my hand that was previously intertwined with hers.

"Yes, I do. It won't happen again and I'm sure if it." The tone in my voice clearly represented that I wasn't proud of the result.

Shortly after, our coffee and array of pastries had arrived.

I excused myself to the bathroom but that was when I had realised, the table that was empty not long before, was filled by Natasha Horner and a friend that I recognised.

My walk quickened, I'm not going near her.

It was obvious that she had realised me and Alex were near by, her expression says it all.

Moody bitch.

I removed myself from the bathroom and made my way back to our table. Alex looked at me in confusion as I clearly looked unhappy.

"Are you done, because we are leaving." I informed.

"What? What's wrong Charles?" Alex rubbed my arm.

"Natasha is here."

Alex's eyes widened, she quickly picked up her stuff and left the correct amount of money on the table.

We swiftly left the café and made our way back to the hotel. The walk back was mostly quiet, as I angrily stared at the ground. Every other minute there was a fan stopping us, asking for a signature or a picture. Having to fake a smile, I respectfully denied there requests.

We entered the cool hotel lobby, Oscar and Lando were sat on one of the couches with a number of suitcases. Assuming they were planning on leaving shortly to start their journey to Jeddah.

Putting on a another smile, I greeted them.

"Hey guys, leaving for Jeddah?" I asked, gesturing to the suitcases scattered by the couch.

"Hey mate, ye just waiting on our ride to the airport." Lando responded with a smile.

We exchanged in a quick conversation, asking normal, friendly questions.

"Alright then, I guess we'll see you there then." I spoke.

"See you around." Oscar added to finish the conversation.

As we entered our hotel room, I slammed the door behind me.

"Fucking bitch." I muttered under my breathe, talking about Natasha.

I placed myself on one of the seats on our room balcony, calming myself down. Alexandra stood behind me, rubbing my shoulders.

"Come on Charles, you need to calm down." Alex comforted, now having her hands wrapped around me.

"I'm sorry, it's just... she's a rookie. I should not be getting beat by someone else, especially her." I explained, now calm.

"You're a great driver, Charles. Every other driver on that track was beat by her, not just you." Alex spoke.

"I know, but I'm usually in her position and I should stay there." I'm now stood up, holding Alexandra by her waist. "We should start packing, we have to leave in a few hours."

We both made our way back into the room, grabbing and unzipping our cases.

The silence was loud, but to a point where it felt nice and calm. Sometimes, just each others company was enough.

We had left the door balcony door open, letting in all the scents and sounds from the outdoors. The city view in the background made me feel at ease.

I stood up and made my way back out onto the empty balcony. My hands resting on the metal railing.

"Have you finished packing?" Alexandra presented herself beside me.

"Yep, all done." I smiled at her.

"Shall we go for a drive?" Alex suggested.

"Yes, of course." I grabbed her hand and started our journey to our hire car.

The lights to the Ferrari we had hired blinked as I unlocked it as we walked closer. I opened Alexandra's door for her, as cars busily made their way around us.

The roar of the engine echoed through the packed street. Thankfully, we hadn't been noticed while we made our way over to the car. Although, people had stopped and stared as we drove by.

We slowly weaved our way through the traffic, trying to make our way out onto the open road.

Usually, when I'm with Alex I drive somewhat responsibly.

We took off, pulling out onto the less occupied street. I just stayed in the speed limit.

Alex admired the towering buildings above us, as we made our way through the streets.

I let down the windows, to hear the noise of the loud engine. Wind blew Alex's hair as she faced to the window.

Our eyes locked as we exchanged smiles, life almost felt as if it was in slow motion.

We carried on our drive, still navigating through Bahrain. The music from the radio filled every street we drove through.

As we turned a corner, a car sped past us going nowhere near the speed limit.

It blew past the lights that had now turned red.

The sound of tires screeching pained my ears, as two cars collided.
