It was approaching 8:00 in the evening. It was time to call my mom and invite her to the restaurant. But first, I needed to put on the waiter uniform given to me: a white shirt, a red-logoed badge, a black vest, and black pants. Although Mr. Miller insisted a lot for me to wear these clothes, I rejected his offer for the sake of equality among the staff. He was also very insistent about me starting work today. To make him feel more at ease, I told him that I would start around 8:00 in the evening, and he agreed. First, he introduced me to the staff. They were all very surprised to see me, and Salar tried not to show it. Mr. Miller introduced me in a normal way, but I'm sure he warned them not to disrespect me when I left. There's no need to be a psychic to understand this, but if tangible proof is needed, Lia still addressing me as "Miss Suares" is a concrete example.

In the dressing room designated for staff, I put on the work clothes given to me. They fit perfectly. Surprising. Despite me not disclosing my measurements, all the clothes Lia brought me fit perfectly. This girl is weird, but let it be. Yes, now I can move on to the second and also the final part of my plan. I need to call my mom, invite her here, and make her see everything. I'm curious about her reaction. I unlocked my phone and called my mom. The phone rang, rang, and she answered.

   "Hello mom, how are you?"

"I'm fine, my dear. How about you?"

"I'm fine too. Uh, I forgot to tell you yesterday. I made a reservation at Gardenia for dinner tonight. And there's something I want to show you. What do you say, will you come, or should I go alone?"

"Please come, please. You need to be here from the first day for everything to end as soon as possible, mom."

"Well, actually, my meeting ended 10 minutes ago, and I'm quite hungry. It's perfect. Good thing you made a reservation in advance. I'll be there in 20 minutes, love you."

"Okay, I'm waiting," I said and hung up. I'm really lucky. If she didn't come today, one of her friends would probably see me, and it would get to her ears before I even had the chance to tell her. If that happened, it would only make her more upset. I didn't make a reservation in advance yesterday, but I made one right after closing the deal. Now it's time to take action.

I walked towards the cash register. I was expecting a new customer. A man and a woman arrived, and Lia greeted them. She escorted them to the table they had reserved in advance. Afterward, I would take their orders; I took the small notepad to write down their orders.

"Welcome, sir," I said, placing the menu in front of them. As the man continued flipping through the pages, he spoke.

"I'll have a fillet steak, and for the drink, red wine." I quickly noted what the man said.

"What about you, dear?" The woman looked angrily at the man. It was clear she wasn't very pleased with his choice.

"Let's have 2 diet salads and 2 lemon waters."

"But dear..." The woman's sharp, cold gaze silenced the man.

"Let's do that. 2 diet salads and 2 lemon waters."

For a moment, I felt sorry for the man. But I don't know anything about their marriage or lives; maybe the man has high cholesterol, and the woman is considering his well-being. Smiling, I said, "Okay, I'll prepare your order right away. Have a good evening," and walked away to deliver the orders to the kitchen for preparation. They said it would be ready in a few minutes. Meanwhile, I checked my phone. My mom was almost here.

"Your order is ready, Miss Suares," I said, taking the order and turning to Zoe.

"You can just call me Suena. We're no different; we're both employees." Zoe smiled and said,      "Okay." Taking the orders, I quickly delivered them and said, "Enjoy your meal," before leaving. Later, a group of young people consisting of 2 girls and 3 guys arrived. They all seemed to be in their early twenties. I went to their table immediately to take the order.
