Year 2050
The man sat by his wife's grave, reminiscing about old memories. The beautiful moments they had shared. He couldn't muster the courage to speak to her. He didn't know what to say. Gathering his courage, he began to express his feelings one by one.
"My love, I'm here. I know it's been a very long time. And I also know that you've been waiting for me for a very long time. I apologize for everything. I couldn't save you..." He wiped a tear that fell from his eye.
"But I'm sure you know why I couldn't come. I wanted to fix everything, but I couldn't. You didn't allow me to. Do you know, I went back in time and saw the young us in our twenties? Although it brought back those old memories, seeing those moments now makes me feel better. I'll do what you wanted. I'll start living a good and happy life." He paused for a moment and continued.
"Besides, who could have known that I would take the best advice of my life from the young you in your twenties. Even after saying goodbye to life, your hand is still on mine, and I'm sure I'll feel that hand forever. That day, I didn't want to say goodbye to you. I couldn't accept that you were gone. I'm sorry. And thank you for everything you've given me." The man no longer cared about the tears streaming down his face.
Slowly, he approached his wife's grave and whispered, "I love you too, my love."
