Would you love me until I die,
With your heart forever entwined with mine?
Through the seasons, as time slips by,
Would your love remain steadfast and kind
In my sunless southern sky?Would you love me in my dead silence,
When do words fail to convey my soul's plea?
In those moments when torment is so immense,
Would you understand and still love me?Would you love me in my mood?
When storms within my heart collide?
Through the highs and lows, misunderstood,
Would you stand by me, side by side?Would you love my poverty,
When riches elude my humble abode?
In scarcity, would you find harmony,
And share my life's burdensome load?Would you love my reality,
The flaws and scars that mark my being?
With acceptance, would you set me free,
And hold me close, forever seeing? It's been a long time living alone,
Aching for love's tender embrace.
Yearning for warmth, yet all on my own,
Longing for a lover's gentle grace. No one misses me; my absence is unknown,
No kisses to light up my southern sky.
But if you'd love me, make my heart your own,
Perhaps, we'll soar, our love on high. So, would you love me until I die,
In all my imperfections, be my guide?
With your love, let our spirits fly,
And forever be eternally tied,
In my sunless southern sky.Dec. 31, 2023, 4:20 AM
