Chapter 2

• Jessica's POV •

When we got out of the car we were at the airport. I went to the front door carrying my hand bag, waiting for Riley as he gets the rest of the baggage from the back of the car. When we walked in, we went and got our tickets and got in line to get on the plane. The line started moving and we were walking on the plane. I sat next to the window and Riley sat down next to me. I grab his hand as I look out the window watching the plane go in the air. My eyes start to get heavy as I start to fall asleep. Goodbye North Carolina, hello California.

• 2 hours later •
( spongebob narrator voice😂)

" Jessica wake up, we're here." Riley said waking me up. I can't believe I am finally in California making my wish come true. We got out of the airport into a car driving to our new house.

We get to the house and it looks beautiful. I get out of the car and go to the back of the car to get my bags that went on the plane with us. I bring it inside, the first step in I look around and saw how more beautiful it was inside.

"Oh my god Riley, it's so gorgeous. How did you pay for all of this?" I asked amazed at what I am staring at. There was a huge living room right when you walk in with a staircase leading upstairs to five bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the master bedroom there was a walk in closet and a cute little bathroom. When you go back downstairs across from the living room there is a kitchen with a huge island that can fit maybe ten people. Then when you look outside from the kitchen window you see a huge in ground pool. I look behind me and see Riley staring at me, waiting for my reaction of the house.
I run up to him fall right on the couch giving him a kiss, thanking for everything.

"Thank you so much for helping me get my dream." I say hugging him.

"Anything for you, my love." He says kissing me on the forehead. I look outside in the front and see a café across the street.

"Can we go there, please!" I asked holding his hands.

"Of course, let's go!" Riley said grabbing my hand. We walk out of the house hand in hand. We get to the café and we stood in line waiting until it was our turn. I looked around and immediately let go of Riley's hand causing him to give me a confused look because saw the one that I thought I would never see again. The one that told me that he loved me right before he left. My best friend, my first love, Hayes Grier.
