Cherish's POV:

I kept my eyes on the phone, It's a text from Wade, I looked at for wife moment, He asked, How was I?... Can we talk?

I looked at the text for long enough, I didn't felt anything, neither my mind was ready to respond. Why would be text me after everything?

I couldn't find a strain of care for him at that moment. I deleted the text without thinking much. I blocked him without thinking twice.

When I entered my room again, I saw Riccardo on the bed, he looks like he is asleep, while the book he was reading is kept on his face. I don't know why he reads anyways, his nature and profession doesn't match.

I crawled on the bed, sitting next to him. I pulled the book off him with great effort and silence, I didn't want him to wake up.

He fell asleep before me today. He was tired from work, I could tell that. He didn't even change much off his clothes.

I whispered, "lazy...." I tried to fix his hair.

I whispered internally, "This damn book has his attention not me..." I kept the book aside, pulling the cover over him, I whispered to him, "Good night...."

as if he could hear right now.

Riccardo's POV:

Next morning,

I opened my eyes to find her sleeping on my chest, I smiled putting my head back. The way she is snuggling into me is magic.

I cannot express how much I am into this.

I whispered, "Don't leave me again...."

I feel human when you are around me.

I indeed need you around.

Your shimmering smile is so appealing that I can walk to it till the end of the world, your voice is like a sweet addictive melody that I cannot forget, I seem to replay that in my mind everytime.

I might be crazy, but I lost my battle for these eyes. I was on my knees the very first day those eyes appeared in front of me, and when I was blessed to be under those eyes, I had nothing left to follow.

I am in her control, I seem to do everything to be around her, I might be insane, but I am willing to be insane for her.

Is it magic? I would love to be vanished in her.

Author's POV:

Sara walked in the room taunting Riley, "See... now you can't get a single word out of his palace...that's his power... and you are dreaming to destroy him?"

Riley was holding her head, with eyes closed. She was furious, but her sister's taunts were driving her insane.

Sara said, "Riley... you should understand, it's better to leave Mr. and Mrs. Valentine alone... ... I don't want to face any problems.. grow up"

Riley grabbed Sara's hand out in anger, she asked, "She is not fit to be Mrs. Valentine... stop proving me by mentioning her..."

Sara pulled her hand off as she said, "Wake up... it's Riccardo who will decided who is fit to be his wife... and he did... he threw you out like trash... and you are still like this!!!"

Sara felt a stinging slap on her face, she looked at Riley stunned, Riley grabbed her hair as she said, "Stop saying like I lost... if you want to live good then stop coming in my way..."

She pushed Sara away as she said, "I will defeat Riccardo... I will take every bit of happiness and peace from his life.... and I will destroy that Cherish Derosa.... I never lose...."
