"Brianna take her to her room so she can rest and get ready for dinner." My dad said as he left. "This way ma'am." She said as she took me up the stairs to my so called room. The room was so beautiful the designs and decorations used were beautiful and it looked so mature maybe it was because of the colors used.
All the furniture in the room were in a milky color. I was baffled by the room and the cozy looking king size bed that was calling me to sleep on it. Brianna kept my bags in the closet before preparing the water for my bath.
I kept walking around the room staring at all the designs and paintings in the walls. "Ma'am your bath is ready. If you need anything you can call for me ,my name is Brianna and I will be more than ready to serve you." She said as she smiled. "Thank you." I said as she was leaving the room. I quickly took my bath and went to bed.
I woke up at around 5pm, the bed was so soft I could lay in it forever but I knew I had to get up especially with Brianna standing next to me with a skittish look on her face. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yes ma'am dinner is in 45 minutes so you have to get ready in time or I'll get fired." She said so calmly but looked so scared. " I'll get ready in time so you don't get fired." I said to her.
I went to the bathroom to wash my sleepy face. When I got back into the room and saw an emerald green dress on my bed. " why is there a dress on the bed?" I asked Brianna. "Oh ma'am Sir had bought this just for you." She said as she smiled brightly and I could tell that I had no choice but to wear it.
Brianna helped me into the dress and after that I sat on a chair as she did my hair and make up. My reflection on the mirror shocked me.
I just never thought I'd ever look this beautiful. Brown lip liner and pink lipgloss was added to my already two toned lips. I knew I was ready for whatever this dinner was about.
"You look so beautiful ma'am!" Brianna said to me. "Please call me Imani." I said to her. "Okay Miss Imani, I think it's time for dinner." We both left the room for the dining room. Everyone was already at the dinning table when I arrived and I could feel all their strong gazes on me but I knew I had to sit quietly without saying a word or looking at anyone.
"I think it the right time for introductions." My dad said as he sighed. "I've been looking forward for this day and it has finally come. The guest sitting with us todays is my daughter Imani the one I have talked about. Hazel meet your step mother and half siblings; Belle, Diana and Tyler. And this is the newest member of our family Imani!" Dad said
